I am so exstatic (vocab building project VBP) I can hardly stand myselft!!
An award from Nellie, the Cat From Hell (she really isn’t though, she is sweet and a good furriend)…it is the SEVEN THINGS ABOUT ME AWARD! I think it is kind’s new but making the rounds fast so I thought I outta get my THANKS to Nellie.
I need to link back to my furriend who gave me the award, so just in case you missed it above, here is Nellie’s link again. And then I need to tell you Seven Things About Me…most of ’em you probably already know ‘cuz I have meowed lots about ME…but here ya go…
One: I am now officially addicted to me Peacock Feather Toys…I don’t play with anything else right now
Two: When Mom doesn’t have that FLASH and CLICK thingy in her hand, I like to give my plush Sibe furriend Nanuk kisses and head butts…heh…heh
Three: I luvluvluv doing my Life Changing Interviews with Savannah: Real Rescue Cats and Dogs Are Talking…I learn so much from efurryone!
Four: I found a cat treat I really, really like…finally says Mom! It is Friskies Original Party Mix, Chicken, Liver and Turkey…yum, yum
Five: I sometimes wake up in the night and cry to get Dad or Mom to pet me and help me feel safe, then I throw myself down as close as I can get to Mom…she usually ends the night with not much room on the bed!
Six: I like my new home better than our other home ‘cuz it is smaller and I don’t lose Mom so much
Seven: I cannot believe how blessed I am to have so many furriends from all over this whole big world who I care about, like to visit, and who I look forward to seeing in my comments as often as life allows them to come by.

The Army of Four Digest, known to furriends as Ao4, made up of Zim and Dave…Zim does the adventuring and Dave does the Mom smoozing!
My Big Guy personal Champion and close furriend, Jetty, Hey, It’s Jet Here…always the consumate (VBP) quality control taste tester for his Mom, Miss Lori, when she creates for her Kitchen Counselor business.
My good NY furriend, Texas, A Cat in New York…and his new sister Kitshka and big bro’ Milou…who is such a push over mancat once he got to know Miss Kitshka…
And of course, I have so been missing one of my first buddies, Jazz Cat Jay, All That Jazz Cat…who is back with his sib Miss Satchie (who is my furry special little niece and she calls me Auntie Savvy)…
Finally, but not least by any means, my new furriend Brut, 24 Paws of Love, and all his fur sibs…Brut gave Mom the opportunity to share her heart Siberian Mischa with you yesterday, thank so much Brut for your birthday challenge!

We are very late in congratulating you on your very special award and thanking you for sharing it with us. Mom had a super busy dany yesterday. We will be sure to post about it too. It is nice learning new things about our pals.

Concatulations on your award Savannah! It was fun learning new things about you. I’m glad you like your new home. It good to be able to keep track of the huMoms. I’m sorry you still have bad dreams about before. It’s hard not knowing but still carrying the fear. I still get scared when men I don’t know come in the house. one of HuMom’s brothers stopped by the other day to see if we need anything during the blackout. I came into the family room while he was there are he ask “is that Dot’s cat?”. After 9 years that was the first time he’d ever seen me coming into the room. Usually I was running away! So don’t feel bad about what still scares you. Be proud of what you’ve overcome and remember that the important thing is that you’re happy. You deserve to be happy and relaxed. And who knows how you might surprise the peeps one day!?! One day you won’t feel afraid and they’ll all be like “Huh? When’d she learn that!”.

Savannah, I am worried about you. There were really a LOT of woofies in your list of 7. Hmmmmmm. Is that stuffed woofie playing head games with you??
About the lack of action shots: Well, here’s the problem. The Human is not a very good photographer so she goes for the easy-peasy relaxicat or seepy pictures when I am firmly ensconced in one spot. When she tries for action shots, I am EXTREMELY uncooperative, plus she has to play with me and take the picture at the same time. For someone unskilled at walking and chewing gum at the same time, this is often too great a challenge. However, we are going to try very hard tomorrow to get a fev-ver picture….so stay tuned!!

Ok Spitty, I also have a Mom who is not, well, coordinated…and taking photos is a challenge to say the least. So she peeMailed your human. And yes Spitty, I have lots of wolfie furriends,and luvluvluv them all…I try to maintain balance in my furriendships…purrrrrrs

heh…heh…I have tried that for a mid-night snack…no such luck…but I do wake scared sometimes and even have bad dreams…no, really…I do…wish I could remember what happened before the shelters…

ConCATS, Savvy! It made us a little misty to learn that you sometimes get scared at night…thank COD you have your peeps to snuggle up with and keep you safe.
I do get scared, I kind’a mew a bit, then get up and literally stumble around like a two year old kid half asleep, then Mom or dad reach down and give me scritches, and pets, and I stagger back to snuggle against Mom. I usually fall right back to sleep

Oh gosh, I didn’t think there was much left to tell, but then I thought about how this house had made such a difference in my behaviors, mostly in a good way…some maybe a bit stepping backwards, but paw forward now!
