Thankful and Hopeful…
Hiya! Savannah Here!
You Know I Like Feathers, Right?
Ok, Ok…so that’s really NOT ME! But Mom had to do something, right????
Now, this day, for those of us who live in the USA is about Giving Thanks For Stuff We Didn’t Have…back when we were something called “Pill-grimes”…or something like that…
…but for us paw bloggers, it always falls on our very special Thankful Thursday…so…makes me wonder…who REALLY started this holiday…ahem,….I know, I have digressed (vocab building project VBP)…
These are my thankful thoughts for this special day…
- I am five years old, and now have my furrever home…I am loved, cherished, always cared for, my ever whim always met…I never knew for the first 4 years of my life that any of that was even possible
- Because my Dad and Mom encouraged me to blog, I now have furriends from around the WHOLE world…and I have learned we are not that different at all
- I am so thankful that I helped Mom and Dad find that social networks, like blogs, FB and Twitter, have power and influence to help change the lives of animals across this world
- I am so thankful that so many cats and dogs have meowed and barked to me about their own personal rescue stories
- Last, not least…I am so thankful Mom and Dad are home, with me, and that I have learned that they always come back, and they won’t ever abandon me…my life is blessed by Ceiling Cat beyond belief
I leave you with a little slideshow of me, last night, on the couch with Mom…again…sitting closer to her than ever, and feeling so relaxed that I gave myself a lovely bath…

well, be sure to write to Santa Paws and send your letter to Rumpy Dog and maybe he will post about it and you will find that blanket under the tree just for you sweet girl
oh, oh, oh… I didn’t know about this. How do I send that letter? By snail mail?
Mommy got a little misty Savvy…you are so well loved by so many now!
oh gosh…I hope so…I worry sometimes cuz Mom has not been able to help me get back to visit since the move..at least not consistently…and looks like I am losing some furriends…sigh…but I have pawsome long time furriends like you guys, thank you for always being here…Savvy paw pats

Mistletoe & Hitch
Hi Mistletoe! And Miss Dorothy, and yes even Hi to Hitch, Tiger and Pumpkin and that cute doggy (sorry I forgot his name, embarrassed ears). We are having only 3 guests, and as two are vegetarian, we are having salmon, the only thing Mom has to cook. Dad and Mom went to a special grocery yesterday and bought EVERYTHING already prepared including a small turkey breast for the non vegetarians. So the microwave and even will be busy heating not cooking (: We wish you all a warm and loving Thanksgiving, Savannah and Mom Linda
That was a nice Thanksgiving-post, now Mr. B. is “flooded” and needs a diving suit … Have a wonderful Thanksgiving …and please send me the leftovers from your turkey ;o)
