Hiya! Savannah Here!
I want to share some photos of birds and a moth that Dad and Mom saw on their vacation to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
They also saw beautiful Golden Orioles but could not get photos.
Please click on them to bigify…the moth is incredible (vocab building project VBP)…Mom and Dad thought they were bats the first night…then Dad took a photo and they could see…they are humongous moths!!

I have some amazing photos of the ocean to show tomorrow.
And I wish I could add a couple of photos of me, but WP just dumps it into the Gallery…oh phooey, here I am just a minute ago helping Mom sort out the Christmas linens…well…ummmmm…actually, I just waited ’til she was done then I used the bins to hope to the window ledge…
Never, ever been here before…but it’s kind’a nice! Then I headed over to my special chair and blue fleece blankie Mom bought JUST FOR ME so I can be in our office when she is…nice, huh?
Yup, we added my photos in a separate gallery and WP said NO, NO, NO!!! Oh well, have a pawsome Caturday!

The header is pawsome – I like your ” rear view” picture with the christmas decoration :o) That are very large cacti – wish I had one ;o)
Great pictures! We look forward to seeing more. We like the ones of Savannah on the ledge, looking out the window too. What a cool spot for catching the breeze and watching the world go by. Your new banner is great too. Very sophisticated, but still very festive.

hey guys, when I try to go to your site from any Google search, all I get is the very first page when you launched your new site. Nothing else. I can’t even find your most recent post. I click on it in Google, and even from my email file, and it goes to this one page and that is it.
ok, I just clicked on your blog link that comes in with your comments and I go to that same trial page, not to the post that shows. You have a problem somewhere I think. hope this helps. Savannah and of course Mom. Will email Michelle on personal email to make sure you get this.

We was just teasing you yesterday, Savannah! My Human slacks off all the time (like today when she says she’s going to be soon and the rest of my visiting will have to wait till tomorrow, sigh), but I haven’t yet managed to make her say it’s her fault, MOL!

That’s a neat woodpecker, it looks like the Gila ‘peckers Mommy sees in Arizona.
well this is the closest type Mom could find…who knows for sure, but there were several all over the resort. Most resorts in Cabo have few trees, large shrubs, or even palms, so they get few birds, but this resort has lots

Did they bring you a birdie dinner from their vacation? Blue is my color too. It really brings out our color. You sure that’s a moth and not a butterfly? It’s huge.
I know you are good in blue too CK. And that moth made my Mom’s skin crawl, so says she!
OMC, that moth looks as big as a bird. It’s a good thing it’s all the way in that Mexico place, because you would have to knock down furniture to catch that thing if it was in your house!
We use WP, too, and had never heard that about ChipIn. Thanks for mentioning it so we can investigate.

seriously, they thought it was a bat! Have no idea what type, but BIG! and thank you for the compliment about my header, I really like it too, Ann from Zoolatry does such nice work.
Savvy, that WP slideshow thingy is a real bore. You will just have to give us a whole floor show of yourself next time! All the photos were super. The Golden Oriole sighting was enough to remember – very few people get to photograph them. We have them on our land and have never had the chance to capture one on camera 😦
We do have a love/hate relationship with WP but it appears that Blogger and others have their own issues. We are considering changing as we want to add a plug in that WP doesn’t allow, Chip In, to support my former shelter. Mom says they used to have the orioles visit their humming bird feeder when they lived in So Calif, the orioles lived in the fronts of all the palms that were there.
