Test Driving My Prezzie…
HIYA! SAVANNAH HERE!
I promised to show you my test drive of my new scratcher…that’s what was in that humongous box sent to me by Mistletoe and Hitch! If you don’t know Mistletoe, you can meet here by clicking HERE…she is a member of the Real Rescue Cats Are Talking Club!!
Anyways, not to digress (VBP)…here is how I approached my first tryout on this big bad scratcher…(I still had my glorious long, sharp claws at this point…they were whacked away days later…thanks lots Mom and Dad…like NOT!)
…first, the sniff test…this was done pre-shipping to me…Hitch covered the shipping sniff test…
…now the delivery sniff test…
…next, the standing strength test…
…now, the sitting strength test…
…ok, ok…so far, so good…now for a little bitty texture test…
…WHOA! This baby is SMOKIN’ HOT!!!
Sorry if the video is a bit dark, but I think you can see…this scratcher is here to stay!! And yes, that is Mom talkin’ in the background like always…she knows I needed a little encouragement to get going…

WOW! That’s like the neatest lookin’ scratcher EVER! I’ve never seen one that looked so neat. Not ever! Bet you’re gonna have tonnes and tonnes of fun givin’ that the ol’ one-two… if you know what I mean. You’ll be able to sharpen up those claws again… just like you like ’em.

That’s a pretty pawsome present all right! I LOVES to claw my scratchers but I am a pretty good boy about the furniture. We sorta have a deal–I get good scratchers and lots of ’em, I leave the furniture alone. It’s a win-win! XOXOXOX
same here Spitty, I don’t bother the furniture at all, and hardly ever use the carpet…the stairs WITH carpet are excluded from that MOL

Dad scruffs me and Mom trims my claws about every 5 weeks…I do not allow them to pick me up…so it is always stressful for all of us…poor Dad has to always be the bad guys ‘cuz Mom can’t hold me AND trim…she says it was easier trimming 3 Sibes every month than one of me!

Thank you Miss Cat. You might enjoy my Real Rescue Cats and Dogs Are Talking series. I did my last Rescue Dog Tuesday this week. I have been doing one cat and one dog rescue interview, all adults, since August. Maybe someday you might think about doing a video of all 10 and write your beautiful piano music to go along with it. Don’t be too embarrassed about the Banana thing. You should hear some of the silly things that the humans call us. If we weren’t covered in fur, you would see us blushing when they start using the silly names. They only use the silly names because they love us…. we think! Your mom is obviously crazy about you, too.

Yo! Savannah! We is really glad you like your scratcher! Mistletoe doesn’t get too upset getting her daggers blunted but I hates it! Only Tiger hates it more. That dude’s crazy! He once managed to leave the vet tech bleeding from her head! They had him all wrapped up….*what? Oh, yeah ok*. HuMom says that a story for another day. Anyways if you use the scratcher …and not the sofa….you can keep your weapons in sharp shape and your Moms and Dads won’t haves to mess with’em as much. There’s 4 of us so HuMom’s mom says we gots more cardboard than a box factory. I’d like to explore a box factory….nothin’ but boxes for miles an miles. Anyways we are glad youz likes it. I saw you sniffin’ it, could you smells me? I hada make sure the HuMom was packin it right. So you can think of me…I, um, I mean us, when you are workin out your new scratcher. (Gleeful laughter from Mistletoe while the tips of Hitch’s ears turn pink) well, um we, yeah, we gotta go…
