My Home Is My Castle…Thankfully

HIYA!!  SAVANNAH HERE!!!

First I have to apologize to my gardening mentor Jonesie…I don’t have anything new in my garden to report for this Thursday…we think we are between stuff bloomin’ and whatnot.

But, there’s been lots going on so I have a few things to share…

IMG_0267

Now I always like to pawticipate in Pepi Smart Dog’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop…and thankfully, I always have stuff to appreciate…like making sure my home is MY castle…don’t mind sharin’ now and then, like with foster brofur Leo…but sometimes the guest just takes things a bit far…na’ mean???

…this is, thankfully, MY Nanuk…my source of courage and support from my Sibe furriends…(thank Cod he is plush otherwise he might wanna taste me like Khyra tried to do when I interviewed her).

…I always give him a little smoochie before I eat my snacks…

…but now I have actual PROOF that my foster brofur Leo has been takin’ advantage of my hosspeetaility…he has gone too far this last week…

I mean I NEVER!!!  Don’t you think he took advantage of being in my CASTLE???? Seriously???!!!

Next, here he is takin’ advantage of my super duper extra special totally unique Three Way Teleport Tunnel!! I mean he could have damaged it beyond repair!!!…

The final straw was when I saw Mom sharin’ his photo with some of my pals from my former rescue shelter, Kitty Corner…Leo was using my mousie toy (the one I treasure never play with)…he did so much upper body strength training he had to take a ‘cool down’ break…

Why, I think he was even trying to copy what I learned from Mama Cat, over at Leader Otis’ bloggy,  about being in the Catlympics.  So, I think I need to be very, very thankful that Mom and Dad made this MY CASTLE…and now…foster brofur Leo needs to start tryin’ to find his own castle…just sayin’…

After all, a thoughtful caring hostess like me can only take so much…then it’s “don’t let the door slam on your tail goin’ out!!”…heh…heh

I know that this will always be my furrever home…and I still spend my evenings on the couch next to Mom…but lately I have been hiding behind the couch during the day…I know Leo is here…and I am a bit scared. Thankfully, Ceiling Cat watches out for me…and makes sure I have peaceful evenings with Mom and Dad…just the three of us…

Thankfully, My Home Is My Castle…I just have to pull up the draw bridge…

  4. Leo looks like he’s doing great! 😀

  5. You are lucky Leo is not spraying everywhere 😉 now that would really upset Queen Savvy xxx. Love photo of Leo stretched on floor his back paws are hilarious x

  6. Leo is doing so well, I’m kinda sad he won’t be staying with you but hope he finds a new home soon xx

  7. I am sorry to hear that you are hiding away when he is roaming! I was secretly hoping you two would become great furiends! It’s so lovely to see him looking so well, let’s hope he gets the green light and soon both he and Mary are in their forever homes! http://www.harringtonspetfood.com/content/UK

  8. We are jumping up and down with joy that Leo is doing so well 🙂 I think Savvy, you are quite intrigued really!!!! mol

Savannah, I think Leo’s been watching videos of you and Nanuk — he’s sure got the same moves as you do! Your friend Dinah, RWB (reader without blog.)

Savannah, it’s too bad that you and Leo didn’t become furiends, but sometimes those things happen. We know Leo will find a great home. And then all your stuff will be just yours once again. oxoxox

Sounds like a classic case of this castle isn’t big enough for the two of us. Purring that Leo’s forever home is right around the corner! Purrs….

  13. I hear you Savvy. If I could live alone….. well, Raffles wouldn’t be here, but I can’t so he is.
It must be nice to be secure enough to be alone in your castle, though not so nice to have Leo around and be feeling scared.
Looking forward to Leo getting a great castle of his own so you can get your own toys back again and it is definitely not on for him to muscle in on Nanuk! This from one who doesn’t own a toy that isn’t puppy slobbered on – yuck! And they wonder why I don’t play anymore.

    • oh precious Zena…(Savvy reaches across time zones to give Zena soft paw pats) I am sad to know you don’t play much anymore. At least I don’t have to share ANY toys that are my faves…Leo has his own stash in his room

  14. You really shouldn’t stress that much. Leo was really nice when he teleported over to my place, I mean, he looks OK. Heh heh. With the CB looking, he should be gone in no time. I just hope he doesn’t have to travel cross country of something cos that may stop him from eating again.

Savvy, it IS your castle. And we know it’s a little upsetting, but you, Mom and dad are doing a wonderful thing by letting Leo stay there until he can find his very own castle. Big hugs to you all.

  16. Savvy Baybeee!! How are woo?? Long time no woo, we’ve been reading all about Leo, what a wonderful kitteh!
Thanks for stopping by our bloggie, we are pretty good here- little brofur Nanük is has really found his voice and likes to woooo at me. Isis is just silly, she pretends to be a grouchy of dog but I know the truth BOL!! I’m good, somedays my bootie gives me problems but pops helps on those days. Take care Savvy (& Leo wooowoooo!!), play bows,

    RA

  17. Oh, Savvy, it’s only a temporary thing for Leo but I know how it feels when another one comes in and takes over EVERYTHING. At least he’s doing really well now and that door might just shut on him soon!!

  18. Leo really is beginning to look at home! Maybe Nanuk is helping him.

  19. Savvy I’m outraged for you! I agree that really does take the cat nip! I’m very happy to hear that Leo’s doing well though and I’m sure he’ll find a lovely furever home soon! =^.^=

  20. Some human is going to be SO lucky to have Leo! He looks like so much fun!

    • He truly is Sparkle. He is just so ored spending so much time in one room. Unless I nap in my ,aster bedroom tent, he can’t come out into the rest of the house…like today. Mom has him in our ,aster right now to give him something to think about

  21. It’s good Leo is doing well Savvy But we all know its your home and Leo will get his own Home too!xx Speedy

  23. Wow, Leo looks terrific. That is so exciting to see him doing so well. Savannah, maybe you will get used to Leo. Leo is looking so well now, maybe he will find a home really soon.

  24. Your home is YOUR castle sweetie – for sure. We’re so happy to hear Leo is doing so much better now. We hope he’ll be able to find a good home too.

  25. We are so excited at how well Leo is doing, and though he is encroaching on your territory and precious possessions, that does mean he will soon be able to go to his very own home. And you will have your castle all to yourself again. Tell Leo good luck at the vet on Friday. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette

  26. Your home is always your castle, Savannah. I hope Leo will find the bestest furever home on the whole world. It was nice to see Nanuk – he is a gorgeous “Kitty-guard” :o)

  27. Savvy Leo may be intruding on your kingdom but I have to say you’ve been a good foster sisfur cause he is looking really good these days…Maybe next time he’s in the tunnel you could set it to connect to Ranger’s new tunnel and then you could send Leo to Ranger’s house fur a visit 🙂

  28. Hmmmm, maybe Leo was checking with Nanuk for some tips on how to make things go better between you and him???

Woos – Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning

  29. Our home is our castle too!!!!

  30. We kinda think Leo has made himself at home in your castle. Maybe you two could become buddies. It is kinda nice having siblings. But don’t tell my siblings I said so. ~Scylla

  31. Savvy goodness Leo has come along hasn’t he..so I am sure with your help and mums he will soon have his own castle and you can drop the drawbridge again 🙂

  32. Oh dear, home invasions can be so difficult Savvy. Can’t help but love the way Leo lies, though, with his legs stretched out behind like a frog 🙂

  33. Hi Savvy…..I bet it’s been tough having an introoooder in your castle but just look how much BETTER he is now than he was before – thank to your pawsome vet and your pawsome family helping him. Now he’s ready to find a furrrever home and we hope he’s as lucky as you have been. Soon you’ll have all your house back – meanwhile Leo has learned to trust and have fun and enjoy your “house-pitality” and that was ever so generous of you. Hang in there – I’m sure he’ll be in his own home very soon.

    Kitty Hugs, Sammy

  34. Oh, Savvy, we’re sad to hear that you are hiding behind the sofa during the day. You deserve to be able to feel confident and happy in your own home. Leo is a wonderful cat, but he deserves a home where all of the cats who live there are as comfortable with him as the humans are. We know you’ll help him find a fantastic forever home.

Waving paw...HI!...what'd 'cha think...??
