For Me? You’re Kidding, Right?!!: Friday Frolics
HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!
And then…”IT” arrived…
We left you last Friday with the following video …if you watched already…no need to do so again…same video…
This is a photo of our first recorded interaction…”Morning With Mom”

Dateline Nov 5, 2013…4 days after “IT” arrived
…….ten days later…after they tried to coerce me to smell her…HAH!…she has now heard my hisser when I set it on LOUD! note the dates, and click to bigify
…and then …she tries again…different position…same tactic…stoopid kid…
Things just kept getting more and more interesting…and my growls and snarls and hisses more and more loud and often…
…by the way…there are no photos from mid January 2014 until about March 2014. Mom L and Dad P were gone for almost a month…another ‘Get Away’…seriously?!
They got what they deserved upon returning…heh…heh…
and now things really start to change…
The month of June, 2014…has seen Sage learn to be more respectful of my privacy and my own space…and I…well…I have begun to learn I can move around even in her presence and still be safe…I still have to use my hisser to make sure she knows I want space…but she is hearing me loud and clear…thank Ceiling Cat!
And now for our big breakthrough…June 17…Mom L and Dad P left us alone, together, for the very first time ever and went to the gym…they worried about Savvy ending up under the bed or behind the couch…but they knew from everything all of you taught them…they had to try…and let us girls sort ourselves out…
And here we are …once again…June 17, 2014…right where we started Nov 5, 2013…if only the humans would learn…heh…heh…

OMC this is so wonderful. Both Savannah and Sage had to figure each other out. Once they figured each other out and once they figured out that they are both very loved and very important they started learning to get along. I think they are both quick learners! It took a year to incorporate Shelly into our family. Also, don’t worry if some days it seems like you are back at square one. Cali and Tater are littermates and good friends. They have days where they hiss and whacky paw each other. It doesn’t happen too often but it does happen occasionally. They go back to being friends again but even the best of friends have spats.
You guys have come such a long way! I’m so pleased to see you able to coexist so well
Oh, sweet Savannah we are so happy to see this progress with you and sweet Sage. We still say one day you two are going to be best of friends and having fun together. Hugs and nose kisses
So wonderful that Sage has grown up enough to understand that you just need your personal space Savvy. I am so glad for you guys that you have come so far yet full circle 🙂

These pictures are too funny. Love it.

We’re so happy for the progress you two have made! You’re doing great, sweeties! 🙂 xx Roxy & Tigerlino ❤
So you and TKS have a truce going on as long as she doesn’t get too close. She seems to really want to be her friend. I think you’re gonna tolerate her, if not like her.
We are delighted to see you are feeling more secure with each other even when your humans have left you alone. Before long you could even be sharing (whispers) a bath!!!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
We’re so proud of you!
Well Savvy I think you’ve made remarkable progress in MANY ways not the least of which is tolerating – slowly but surely – sharing your Queendom with Sage. I think she really wants to be your friend and you’re slowly realizing that she doesn’t threaten your spot in the heart of your Mom and Dad – she just wants to share. You’re such a GOOD and brave girl!
Hugs, Sammy

It is beautiful to know that you are starting to feel a bit more safe around the kid. And I am so glad that sage is starting to respect your privacy a little more.
Have a great weekend guys!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
It’s nice that you’re getting more relaxed together. You had to teach the kid some respect, Savvy – but I think she has the idea now!
You were on the bed together? TOGETHER? WITHOUT your mum in between? EXCELLENT.
Purrs,
Nissy
PS. Little set-backs are normal but in time, they’ll be smaller and there will be far fewer of ’em. purrs
the “busted”-photo is my favorite, it’s just great! I’m so glad you can share a bed together… even when there is a little room between you… wait… that’s my place, right?
Everything in good time. We hope that the day will come when you two are great furiends. Kitties Blue are having a giveaway at The Cat on My head for an adorable, appliquéd kitty flag. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Great walk through your progress Savvy….and I must say mums legs in the first pic….VERY BRAVE..with two kitties either side ready to do anything!! but small steps are the biggest ones…better to taken many small steps than fall over from bg ones Bravo kitties 🙂 hugs and loves Fozziemum xxx
You’re doing GREAT Savvy. Sage, too! Progress doesn’t have to be quick.
Love and licks,
Cupcake
I just wish the HuMom had been as careful in picking out my feline family as yours, Savannah. I get whatever obnoxious boy cat has the temerity to stop a speeding Toyota Tacoma and using Ceiling Cat only knows what tricks, gets himself taken in and made a full fledged member of MY household. After seeing how much care your folks used in picking out Sage, I’ve decided to file a complaint. Now if I can just figure out this email….
At least it is not different rooms 😉 x. Positive progress
How funny that all that progress led you right back to the beginning! It really is all about the journey, isn’t it, girls?
Meez so happy fuw yous boff. 🙂 What fun yous gunna be havin’ now.
Luv and Hugs and Kitty Kisses

I reckon you’ll be playing together at some point, you both have appealing natures that will get you reaching out,now see of you were a rabbit well that would be different ,us bunnies are a difficult lot to bond unless you start young but when we get older like me well it is very difficult,we are a cranky lot at times,I’m glad you to are getting closer,Having a sibling can be so much fun, love ya both,xx Speedy
Glad y’all are makin some progress!
Well, the last photo is not the big change – but that you can be left alone with each other for company, that is!
There will always be a little hissing, some fur flying now and then or a scratch on the nose (though I doubt, one could see the evidence with either of you) – but there will as well be other moments, when you will watch bird TV together! Moments, when you will both walk around, meet somewhere on neutral land – and just walk by each other. I am very confident about that, Savy – and I am sure you DO enjoy Sage’s presence. Someone, who is like you, as small, as four-pawed, as able to communicate with pheromones …
