Isn’t she lovely?

HIYA!!  SAVANNAH HERE!!!

This is all about my incredible sisfur, Katie aka KK aka Kai-Kai. KK is such a doll!! She is still very afraid of all people, including Mom L and sometimes Dad P. But KK has developed over four years a bond with Dad P and every night she allows him to stroke her furs, brush her and spends time letting him get close. Mom L can sometimes brush and pet KK, and in the cooler months, KK even will sleep between Mom L’s or Dad P’s legs. We never thought that Katie would come as far as she has in trusting all of us to keep her safe and loved. We tried to help her find her purrfect furrever home for almost two years. And then, we decided no one will ever love her and care for her as much as all of us. Katie is OUR girl—”Isn’t she lovely?”

Stevie Wonder wrote these great lyrics. And we believe that they fit our sweetie pie Katie

Isn’t she lovelyIsn’t she wonderfulIsn’t she precious

That’s KK trying to wind me over and she sure did! Our Katie is just the bestest thing to ever happen in my castle.  And now look at her! And yes, she has a bit of a crooked smile. She had stomatitis and finally we had to have all her toofies removed. Nonetheless, KK is such doll!

Katie did a little photo shoot with Mom L recently. It was hard ‘cuz KK would not leave that sun puddle alone!! So Mom L had to try to grab photos without all that bright sun streaming through the blinds behind her.

Katie’s eye are green like mine. But a soft sort’a jade green. Not as brilliant as mine, but oh so lovely!!

Our Katie is now playing like a champ with our former foster The Domino Kid. Domino is now a ‘foster fail” and will live forever here in my castle! He and KK are so much fun to watch as they rip around our two story townhome! And KK lets Domie know when he is being too pushy and she gives him her best hiss, snarl and even a paw whack when needed!!!

Silly dilly Katie

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

So’s in case you haven’t already noticed, my littlest sisfur KK aka Katie is a silly dilly crazypants kitty!! MOL!!!

And yet, she can also be just the cutest little angel you ever met. So what do ya think this says about Katie as she continues, two years after officially being “Gotcha’ed”, to reveal her REAL SELF to us?

Katie arrived in my castle in 2018, only five months old and already having had a couple of kittens who did not survive.

Now, about our cutie pie little Miss Katie these days: 2021

When we had our foster kitten Pipsqueak, he taught Katie about how much fun the three was tunnel can be. And Katie took that lesson to heart. She plays like a crazy cat every night with Mom L and Dad P when they take turns running her through her evening workout. And after that, she relaxes to share with all of us some glimpses of her REAL SELF!

Now let me just say that, thankfully Katie, has never ever learned about the true POWER of that three way cat tunnel. My long time readers will know exactly what I am sayin’. Check out my first AdventurCat use of that tunnel here!

As you can tell, Katie fits right in with me here in my castle!!

Our belated GOTCHA DAY!!

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Only long time furriends aren’t shy about pointing out that Mom L FORGOT to celebrate our collective GOTCHA DAY!! They officially adopted each of us on January 3, which is the day they adopted me, The Princess, firstest. TKS and KK were adopted so close to that same date that Mom L thought is would be fun to celebrate all of us on the same day. And we sure don’t mind!!! We all landed the bestest forever castle any three kitties could ever have. And I have my blog that I share with TKS and KK so’s no one gets left out.

Our long time furriend Brian, from Brian’s Home, left me a comment on my Friday Memes to let me know he was think’in of me on January 3!! And Mom L first hid her face in shame and turned ever color of bright red, and then she set to work to help me create this little celebration for all three of us girls. I love it and hope you do too.

We are posting this on Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop because that is just what all of us, including Mom L and Dad P are—thankful that we have found each other and that us kitties get to constantly find ways to show Mom L and Dad P our true REAL SELF as the years pass. It doesn’t get much better than that. Right?

Purrlease remember all those abandoned community cats who are not as fortunate as us.
