Still Trying New Things

Hiya, Savannah here.  As this is Saturday Blog Hop…I will make this short so I can get moving on the  hop!

I am still finding new places to relax in my house…and gettin’ even more comfy in some of them I already discoverd…ya know…letting myself sort of stretch out, hang out…so to speak…

The new/old sun puddle spot on the stairs is becoming one of my faves…I’m just gettin’ more relaxed about using it…

 ..you can see I’m pretty catgone relaxed in this spot now…

Then lately, Dad and Mom couldn’t find me…and lo and behold…I had rediscovered an old hiding spot they made for me in their closet when I first came here…I just decided it was a really nice, dark spot to nap on Hoover Thursday or when loud guests come over…

…then there is always the old stand by, my bed in Mom’s office window…I’m just not comfy staying in it when she uses her office…still don’t know why I quit hanging out with her…but I love this bed when I can have the office to myself…ummmm…purrrr….

…now my new spot…oh cat! Is this ever great!!! Dad left the slider open from our breakfast room to the humongous deck outside…nice sunny warm day…and there is this mat in front of the slider…I always  sit on this mat to tidy up after I have had a drink from my fountain or a snack…who knew I would find SUN PUDDLES here too…and a nice warm breeze…yes!

…so I wanted you all to know I’m still exploring, trying out new spots, getting more comfy in old spots, and rediscovering old spots I can use to nap, not hide…

Discovery Friday: The Paper Bag

Oh Cod!! WHO KNEW!!!!!!

Guess I have been sort’a out of it before getting my new furrever home in January.  I know some of you guys already know about paper bags…but oh cat! I did not!!

So my first time trying it out, I was kind’a timid…checking the bag out first…

…I mean…who knew what was inside that thing…but ya guessed it…cat curiousity took over…and I had’ta look inside…

…hmmmm…dark…then something kind’a moved at the back…so I looked a bit harder…

….then I thought “whoa”…I better step away and think about this…and there were sun puddles to be enjoyed…

Soooo….I am tryin’ out new toys and new things to play with and I am testing my confidence…I have lots more to tell you about but I will stretch it out for a couple of posts…wait ’til ya hear about my adventure in the Harry Potter Closet! Oh My Cat!!

The TP Roll Toy: Part 3

…I know it went under the wooden box thingy…

…aiiieee….yooowwlll…meeooowww…Mom!!!…You had it!! And Moved it!!!

….Ok, so now I know where it went (thanks Mom!)…lining up to attack..

…notice the hold on the scratch post and the incredible demand on my abs in the wind up..

…whammo… I zoom aroung the post and attack it from behind…

…now the rabbit kick of death…yaaaaaa!!!

…now another wind up using the post again for leverage (note the ab work)…

…waaaa hooo…meeooowww…swingin’ around for the attack…

…oh MY COD!!!…under the chair…what the…..!!!???

…emmm…ahhh..errrrr….ummmm…Ok, ya noticed it was at my hind foot and not under the chair…right?!  Could ya please keep this between us anifamily members??…purrlease??!!
