Monday Meowsie News (MMN)…

Hiya! Savannah Here!

First, I have been so honored by three of my furriends with some awards…

The first one I will show is a BRAND NEW award for me…and I am so honored…yet…I cannot meet the requirements of the award…so I ask my furriend Misaki, The Misadventures of Misaki, who passed the unique Lipstik Award to me to feel free to withdraw this award, as I cannot do what is required…

You see, my staff CANNOT post a photo of me with LIPSTIK on…she is so ~~amazingly old and senile~~ wonderful but just cannot manage it right now…

And so, I pass this award to all of you who are able to show your fantabulous photos WITH LIPSTIK!!! Go for it!!!!

Next, an award from Mini Pig and Guinea Big, who have graciously passed to me the One Lovely Blog award

..I already have this award…but I am so honored that my new furriends, Mini Pig and Guinea Pig, would think of me!!…thank you ever so much!!!…and anyone who would love to show this award on their blog should take it as I think all of you are truly Lovely Blogs!!!

…and lastly… my bestest cat furriend, Texas, A Cat in New York, has passed forward to me the also unique award “Super Sweet Blogger”…

Now the rules for the Super Sweet Blogger Award are:

All righty!!! That takes care of the awards…now to just a few of my FORWARD PROGRESS NEWS since last Monday…

…first…MOM SHOWED ME THE LINEN CLOSET…woo hoo!!!…this is so nice!…dark and comfy…

…WHAT???…NO!…this is NOT ME…it is my alternate ego…seriously, go AWAY…NO..I do NOT HAVE antennae ears!!!!

That does it!! That’s my Monday Meowsie News!!…and lucky for Mom that I let her even post the part after the awards….just sayin’…

Thank Ceiling Cat!!!…Easy Like On Sunday…

Hiya! Savannah Here!

Guess you all figured it out by now…my blog posts will suffer in content, creativity and PHOTOS OF ME!!…during the time Mom and Dad have ” HOUSE GUESTS”…(like…seriously…who the…invited them! Certainly NOT ME!)

At least I managed to have a really nice, looooooonnnnnggggggg nap this morning…because they went off with their HOUSE GUEST for breakfast (no, I was NOT invited)…and so at least I had time to myself to ponder (vocab builder project VBP) my state of being…and ask myself questions such as …”why, oh why did I let them have access to a phone or my internet so they could issue invites“….

…pondering the need for Mom and Dad having phone or internet access…

OH!! You must be wondering why I am seemingly asleep??!!….noooooo…not at all…remember…I am “pondering…”…and please notice they left me an “UNMADE BED”…shock!!!…horror!!!…how could they leave me with rumpled bedding…(heh heh…that was my plan all along, of course…)

Of course what they did this morning, not wanting to tell me…but as all of you know……I READ LIPS!!…what?…you don’t think so???…why, just ask any cat…we all do!!

…anyways…they went to get the keys to our new home…and I am sure they were checking out exactly where I will want my feeding station and my two litter boxes…and they had to measure to make sure my space would be sufficient for all of that and of course, my Bird Watching Tower, my Office Bed, and so on….

…then later… I had time to focus on my blog posts for the next several days…and of course, I also had to fret (vocab builder project VBP) about the fact that I will most likely NOT BE GRANTED access to my iPad or my laptop so I can visit all my furriends and their blogs and respond to all my Tweets…the nerve of Mom and Dad…sigh…

Did you notice how disturbed I am that they left me all alone…after getting the keys, they went to something called a “moovee”…must have been a lot of cows I guess???…

That is how my Sunday Easy Went…hope yours is just as stress free…Paw Pats, Savannah

Sharing My Mom and Dad…

Hiya! Savannah Here!

You all know I am a Momma’s cat…no shame in that…and I love my Dad too…but Mom and I are like tied at the heart for sure! Me to her and her to me…really nice…

…I trust Mom and Mom trusts me…

…to snuggle with Mom and be snuggles by Mom…the best!…

…Mom is relaxed when she touches me and I relax at her touch…

Anyways, for the next 10 days I am gonna have to share not only Dad, but Mom. We have my Auntie Claudia with us now, and then next week a former consulting colleague is coming to visit with Mom. Her name is Easter…isn’t that the nicest name??!!

Auntie Claudia was here last Christmas right about when Mom and Dad were still fostering me. I liked her then and let her touch me. And this morning, I actutally got back in bed with Mom and Auntie Claudia while they shared the newspapers and catching up on each other’s lives.

See, they have this routine when she comes to visit…Dad gets up (and of course feeds me FIRST THING!) and gets Mom’s and Auntie Claudia’s coffee.

Then Dad sits in the chair next to the bed, and Auntie Claudia comes down and climbs in with Mom…then they all 3 watch the morning news, share newspapers and visit…they laugh lots, and catch up. Auntie Claudia is Mom and Dad’s adopted god-daughter. She is only 37 years old and she used to pet sit my” before me” cat brothers and sister when they lived in Southern California. That is where Auntie Claudia still lives.

So…I was pretty much left alone most of yesterday, what with doing their volunteer cleaning work at Kitty Corner, then collecting Auntie Claudia at the airport, then they met up with Miss Chrissy…she manages Kitty Corner where I was living when Mom and Dad found me.

They all went to something last night called a “Niner’s Game”…not sure what it was all about…but based on the photos, I think they had a spectacular (vocab builder project VBP) time!!

That’s Auntie Claudia in front, then Miss Chrissy and then MOM!…they are wearing a bunch of San Francisco 49’ers gear…that’s an NFL football team here in the USA in case no one else know that…I CERTAINLY DID NOT…and still don’t really care…’cuz they left me home alone….hangs head, covers eyes with paws…sniffle, sniffle…

Now I am taking my nap in my Bird Watching Tower…and they are all going somewhere…Mom thinks it is good for me to learn to have someone visit…she thinks I need to ‘get used’ to other people…and I ask “why???”…just sayin’…
