How We Roll On Togetherness

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Lots of my readers are continuing to hope that one day TKS and I will curl up together. Hate to disappoint, but don’t go gettin’ your knickers in a ruffle ‘cuz that just isn’t how we roll.

Anytime we are together on the same piece of furniture is a moment that gets Mom L and Dad P all excited.

I don’t get it actually, we get on my our king size bed at night, opposite sides of course—we each have our own human to keep warm. Why don’t they take photos of that? Bad lighting?? No wide angle lens?? Don’t wanna use the flash??

But then they have no problem when they find us during the day, na’mean?

Why do YOU think they don’t ever take photos of me and TKS at night when we make Mom L the filling in our “kitty-cat sandwich”??

Pee Ess—I am sending my best paw pats to all of you who have been supportin’ me and Mom L in our SECOND CALL TO ACTION efforts on behalf of the community cats on Kauai.  We are workin’ hard to respond to all your tweets, Face Book shares and blog posts. We sent off our second letter to that dang Feral Cat Ordinance Committee today.

Pee Ess Ess—And I have not forgotten I owe you an update on Momma Kat (click on her name to view my blog post about her, you won’t regret the time, purromise) and the contents of her Hope Chest. I am just wait’in on a couple of more items to be delivered and it is complete. Mom L and I are in contact with her foster human Mr. Devin and Bright Haven weekly. She will never leave my Paw It Forward radar until she is in her well deserved forever home.

Is The Kid Sage Fickle?

HIYA!!  SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Now let me expand on the question I asked in my post title—it’s really “Is TKS fickle, or an opportunist?”

I’ll let you be the judge of how she spent her evening with Mom L a while back, while Dad P was out and about doing his meeting stuff and whatnot.

Mom L you know I love you ever so much, right? And you're the bestest.

Just look at those sweet eyes and all that love pouring out as she snuggles in Mom L’s lap. She was such a kiss up that night, I had to leave the couch with Mom L cuz I just couldn’t watch her anymore.

Of course Mom L didn’t hear a thing. But then TKS and I can hear way better than her. I knew TKS heard a familiar car engine as it turned up our street.

Now she gets ready to break the news to Mom L. It was tough to watch, I can tell you that!

Apologies for the blurred last photo but TKS was starting to move pretty fast about then cuz she could now hear the garage door opening. She was outta Mom L’s lap so fast it was amazing! So much for all that lovin’ she was sharing with Mom L. Now do you think she is just fickle as to who she gives her snuggles or is she an opportunist who gets what she can from whomever she can get it???

Silly TKS. Thankfully Mom L knows that her heart belongs to Dad P.

Virtual Road Trip—Lake Tahoe!!

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I know you were all wondering just where Mom L and Dad P took off to for their little two night getaway. Thankfully they didn’t go far, just up to Incline Village, Lake Tahoe on the Nevada state side.

Of course TKS tried to join them right away!

Well, that didn’t work so I decided TKS and I ought to join them “virtually”.

My Sunday Selfie photo was showing off the pawtastic sunset Mom L and her pal Doc Josie waited to view for an hour or more.

We decided we ought to also join them in their comfy lodging. I personally think our their bed was just about right! You can see my approval in that first photo, right? And then TKS tried out their very roomy bathroom sink!

Finally, TKS and I decided to allow Mom L and Dad P to enjoy themselves, but not without first testing the lovely waters of Lake Tahoe.
