Office help no longer needed

HIYA!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Well Mom L is always sayin’ that now that I am getting on in my years—she needs some office help ‘cuz I tend to nod off too much. They say “you get what ya ask for”; right?! Mom L got just what she asked for—new office help. She has stopped askin’ now ‘cuz she isn’t so sure that she got what she was hoping for. I will let you all decide if Mom L has enough office help now—heh, heh, heh!

They say it takes a village to do many things. Mom L wasn’t counting on a village to help her in her office work. Sammie, Jessie, Domino and Butch think differently. They believe that Mom L needs all the help they can give her!!!

Domino has taken on the responsibility of being her “go to” typist and editor.

And Domino and Jessie have taken on making sure her office chair is covered in comfy warm furs!!

And Jessie, Domino and Samantha are making sure she gets all her photos done just right.

Do you have office help as capable as Mom L ? Let me hear a shout in comments out about how you all help you typists!

Now the not so silly news. Our precious four foster kittens, now about five months old, have not had one serious inquiry about adopting them. Nope, not one. They may be with us still at Christmas. They are so very loving, gentle sweet cats. If you are actively involved in getting abandoned cats adopted, please let me know if you are having the same horrible slow down in adopters showing up for adoption events.

Our four sweet kittens/juveniles at their last adoption event this past Saturday.

On the left are The Domino Kid and Butch Cassidy and on the right are Laughing Samantha and Jessie James; at their last adoption event this past Saturday. Are they not the most adorable sweet juveniles ever??!! Please send all your purrs and POTP to our foster juveniles in hopes that someone recognizes what precious loving, purring darling companions they will be.

The four are available for adoption,  through Community Concern For Cats,  by contacting  Mom L at: infopdvc@gmail.com. They are located in the San Francisco Bay area.

Friday Memes for Friday Smiles

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I have three guests today. First up is Senorita Mirabel. She is being fostered by Miss Yazmin until she can find her forever home. Mom L pulled this sweet six year old gal from the park colony our nonprofit Delta View Cats feeds every day. She is just too friendly to be left in a colony. Don’t ya think so??? Sadly, no one has inquired about her since she came into an adoption program in early March.

She sure has her foster wrapped around her dainty little paws!

Next up are two kittens that were at the last Kitchen Clinic Mom L worked a couple weeks ago. They were getting FeLV tested, deworming with pyrantel, flea treatment and their first FVRCP vaccination to get ready for moving through an adoption program.

Not every kitten enjoys taking liquid pyrantel!!

Ah yes—”the position” kittens take to get their left hind leg stretched out to draw a bity bit of blood to use for the FeLV snap test. Over and done in seconds!!

Hope you are smiling at my guests’ memes.

Monday Meowsie News

HIYA!!  SAVANNAH HERE!!!

My Meowsie News is all about the kindness and generosity of humans who truly care about helping deliver humane management and care to our abandoned community cats. This is about Cookie.

My our Delta View Cats nonprofit may be small, but we can sure pull off some darn good fundraising to help an adult abandoned community cat get his mouth back so’s he can eat without crying!!!

Mom L received a call from a lady we have helped before, Miss Melissa. She has been feeding an adult cat she named Cookie for a few years and saw that he was drooling a lot and could not eat the food. We loaned her a trap and then transported Cookie to our county’s  animal services medical team. They assessed Cookie and learned he needed excessive dental care which they do not provide.

Oh my!!! My Our little nonprofit doesn’t have a very well funded emergency medical fund. But we were determined to make sure that Cookie got his chompers back to being comfy!!!

We posted on our Facebook page all about Cookie. And within couple of days we raised enough funds ($2,000 USD) to pay for Cookie’s Chompers!!! Please, if you follow my blog, please, please follow my our nonprofit’s Facebook page! We have such generous and loyal followers and we really need about a kabillion more followers!!

Cookie is doing very well being inside and loved. In fact, Cookie has decided that he may just really like being an inside kitty forever!! Who knew!! This darling boy has been head butting his caretaker, Miss Melissa and even her three year old son. Cookie is finally able to show off his REAL SELF!!!

That’s my Monday Meowsie News. Hope you loved it!!
