HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I know my post is late but here it is! I don’t like to miss posting for the #RememberMeThursday adoption event. You see, if humans had not been made aware of how desperate those of us ending up in municipal shelters can be to find real homes, I would have been euthanized in 2010. Yes, I was literally pulled off the “euth cart” by a life saving human Miss Tammy, just as they were ready to take me to the unmentionable room.

I am such a fortunate kitty! Miss Tammy fostered me until there was space for me to be placed in a non profit free roam kitty shelter called Kitty Corner. Oh, the public shelter did try to get me adopted; they placed me in Petsmart cages for about three months. But I was terrified and “did not show well”. Hah!! Who would??!!!

And then I languished for over a year at Kitty Corner. Again no one wanted me because I always hid. But the purrfect human came along, my Dad P, and took his time to get to know me even with my butt facing him from inside my hidey place!! MOL!!!

Please do not ever give up on the shy kitties you find in shelters. We will become your most loving companion if you just give us a chance.

Someone idolizes TKS

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I  think most of you know that we have a foster brofur living with us. As for me, I’m not pleased, not pleased at all. I hiss so hard and loud that I have to koff and clear my throat when I’m done! And half an hour later, there he is back again trying to touch my nose. Sheesh!!

Okay, he does throw himself down right in front of me showing his tummy and being all submissive as well he should be, but I gotta tell ya, I sure do hope he finds his forever home really soon.

As for TKS, she is now allowing nose touches on a rare occasion. The foster brofur Pipsqueak seems to idolize TKS. Maybe it’s the fur color? What do you think?

TKS is crazy over an type of treat, and Pip is right there next to her. Pip has even tried to copycat TKS getting into our high cat tower in our master bedroom. Mom L was lying on her side and managed to capture some drunken looking photos of what TKS thinks about having Pip on the tower with her.

He’s down on the next level, right?

Ok kid, you better stay one story down

Pip knew he couldn’t go up to the next story or else he’s get a paw whap for sure. Finally TKS fixed the situation so’s she could get her afternoon nap without feeling spied on.

Yep, TKS turned to face the wall and by golly so did Pip!! MOL!!

Hey everyone, so  tickled you joined me today. I really need to hear in comments if any one of my three meme creations made you giggle, even just a teeny bit.

Don’t ya just dislike knowing some other cats choice for lunch?? Purrsonally, I totally gag at anything fishy. Now TKS, she is totally fine with that. UGH!

Ummm—so’s we don’t go outside here in my castle. But I bet’cha some of my pals know what their back up plan is just in case they climb a tad too high. Please share in comments what your best rescue plans are.

 

Please help me and TKS learn how to behave around this new foster kid, Pipsqueak, so’s we don’t get yelled at by Mom L and Dad P. I know Pip needs his own forever home, but darn…does he have to wreck mine???
