Feline Home Protection…MEOWWWWW

My day: short story…

have’ta get back down stairs for nom noms (dinner)

Sooooo…this morning..MOM off to gym…hmmmmmm…wonder what the heck she does there???

Anyways…just me and Dad…hangin’ out…I go into our bedroom…and OMC…can you believe!!???? THERE IS ANOTHER CAT ON MYYYYYY DECK!!!!!!!!!

So I let out this realllllyyy TOTALLY cool, very LOUD….YEOWWWLLLLLLL MEOWWWWL I WILL TOTALLY SHRED YOU DUDE!!!!!!!!!! …Kinda of sound….

No photos…Dad is too slow….but he capers down stairs…thinking like….holy moly or something like that ….maybe it might have been like “holy shooters????:…anyways….he comes running…

I am in our bedroom protecting our turf from…ya got it…as Mr Otis calls them…a Limbo Kitty from across the street. That cat always comes on MY deck hunting MY birds (wish I could…ummm errrr…aaaahhhh…not really…moving on…I hope…) so anyway…me and the orange Limbo Kitty do a stare down….I’m holding total eye contact….and he BLINKS first…what a bimbo!!! Yeah! Paw Pump!!! I WON….and off he goes….

well, maybe Dad kind’a helped out with his shouting and banging on the window….but…just sayin’…I was TOTAL CAT HOME PROTECTION TODAY!!! whoo hooo

Mice in the Bed…Oh My Cat!!!

okay, okay, okay…..

ya all know I have been kind’a on my own for a long time..untill I got my forever home this Jan. I know, I know…wooo hooo!!

So, with so much of my 5 years probably spent on the lamb…so to speak…hiding from humans, cats, dogs, coyotes and so on…given all that I sort’a forgot how to just “PLAY“..go figure, huh?!
A “play-less” cat…Oh Cat! Tell me it isn’t so!!

Anyways…that’s one of the things my huMom and huDad helped me re-learn…totally..and I am pretty good at it most of the time…I just am still afraid that I can only do it in our bedroom…not sure how to play in the other bigger rooms…although…………tee heee………I do play by myself at night…try to be quiet…but Oh Cat! Ya should hear how loud I can make my paw patter runnin’ up and down the stairs… then there’s this really long hall way..all HARDWOOD floors…MEOW!! Great noise! errrr…ummm. sorry Dad n Mom…(maybe)

Ok…so the game me and Mom play most…you guys probably all have done this since kittenhood…but I was SHOCKED the first time I did it

MICE IN THE BED….OH MY !!!!

First…you totally pretend to see absolutely nada..nothing…nope..can’t see it..minding my own business thank you very much…..

Now…show some interest…stare….if you stare long enuff…trust me…it moves!

Nowwww we’re talkin’…see it?..see it? OMC…ya just have’ta grab at it….

aiiii yiiii meeeoowww…then ya have to bite it…..

getting to the reallllyy good part now…..ya have it…but now…just hang on and pretend you just don’t even know what’s goin’ on…like ignore it and be aloof…

noww ya have it….pretend ya just don’t care…those mice in the bed are just a figment of your imagination and you know it….back to ignoring it allll…aloof

and that my friends is how you play MICE IN THE BED…OH MY!!!!

Gotta dash..nom nom time…can hear hear Dad banging on the dish to get me to come…so cute…he tries so hard…have to keep my distance for a bit longer though…ya know…training him…come on …you cats know how it works, right??!!

TV For Cats! WHO KNEW…WooHoo!!

Hiya…slow start today..and now it’s time for NOM NOMS! Yep…so guess what? Never mind..i’ll tell ya.

Remember I told ya a few posts ago that Dad is trying to help me get more trustful of him…???…well…he’s taken to feeding me (Mom never does ‘cuz Dad is workin’ on his and my relationship…Im pretty cool with Mom for now…) ANYWAYS…

Dad was tryin’ to feed me tonight…he calls me…I get sort’a close…he waits for me to come over so he can put it down…I usually get scared, run off…and wait for him to try again.

WEELLLLL…tonight…he tried a couple of times to feed me ‘cuz I was bawlin’ my head off wanting my nom noms….but I kept skittering away…so he puts the food (hard and soft..woohoo 2 types) on the kitchen counter just waitin’ for me to show again…then he goes upstairs for sec…..YEEE HAAWWW…

I DID THE OLD “GRAB IT” MOVE….jumped on the counter…snatched some bites before he came back…then watched him…HE LAUGHED!!! What a guy…

So….now for my post for today….about TV.

So, Yesterday was kinda slow…Mom and Dad were gone for a while…so Mom puts on my fav DVDs….and here’s some proof I totally dig TV and the DVDs I have posted on my Entertainment Page

Now..maybe if I get a bit closer…..maybe…….

oh yeah!!…now I am totallllly into this….OMC…look at those squirrels!!…what clarity…what fluffy tails…hmmmmmOh Cat…are they ever nice and plump!…no, no, I didn’t really mean that….

YIKES..they are so totally REAL!

Ok, Ok, I am now in control….that was yesterday…whew!!!

ONE LAST THING…so this morning…I’m just hangin’ in bed with Mom…ya know..watchin’ Good Morning America…gotta love Robin Roberts…and George S is totally cute…and then there’s Sam, and Josh….well….I stray..(no pun intended yuk yuk meow)

the TOTALLLY LAST THING….this morning…Mom is sitting in bed…I am at the end of the bed, pondering my third name…(you don’t know what that means if ya haven’t read my page about Things I Read..just sayin’..) ANYways..Mom is sort’a always got something moving..one of those humans who bounces her knee all the time etc…well this morning…she is wriggling her foot up and down…

OMC (meaning: Oh My Cat)…she saw me…I was totally engrossed in her foot…my head was goin’ up and down to the timing of her foot..then she stopped…told Dad…then she did it again…I COULDN’T HELP MYSELF…I kept time with her flipping foot….up,down.up. down,up, down…

YEP..that’s my embarrassment for the day…sweet dreams to all…like Mom and Dad say…don’t let those bed bugs bite…and for any who follow me…remember for our anipal Petie…from Twitter..he passed OTRB today at 16 years old. A candle for Petie…huge #paw circle for Petie..sad now…nitey nite…Savannah
