Someone idolizes TKS

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I  think most of you know that we have a foster brofur living with us. As for me, I’m not pleased, not pleased at all. I hiss so hard and loud that I have to koff and clear my throat when I’m done! And half an hour later, there he is back again trying to touch my nose. Sheesh!!

Okay, he does throw himself down right in front of me showing his tummy and being all submissive as well he should be, but I gotta tell ya, I sure do hope he finds his forever home really soon.

As for TKS, she is now allowing nose touches on a rare occasion. The foster brofur Pipsqueak seems to idolize TKS. Maybe it’s the fur color? What do you think?

TKS is crazy over an type of treat, and Pip is right there next to her. Pip has even tried to copycat TKS getting into our high cat tower in our master bedroom. Mom L was lying on her side and managed to capture some drunken looking photos of what TKS thinks about having Pip on the tower with her.

He’s down on the next level, right?

Look at Pip’s idolizing gaze.

Ok kid, you better stay one story down

Pip knew he couldn’t go up to the next story or else he’s get a paw whap for sure. Finally TKS fixed the situation so’s she could get her afternoon nap without feeling spied on.

You can watch my back kid

Yep, TKS turned to face the wall and by golly so did Pip!! MOL!!

Do any of your fur siblings idolize your every move?? Tell me how in comments.

Nip time never gets old

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

First off I wanna say how sorry I am that I missed my last Monday’s blog post. Mom L and I were all set to get down to writing, but then I had a really bad pain in my right hind leggie and Mom L and Dad P dashed me off to our best animal emergency hospital. It always happens on a Sunday, right? Long story short, it seems I have a soft tissue injury likely gotten when I was trying to get away from that little foster introoder Pipsqueak. He is a five month old black kitten who is always tryin’ to sniff my tail or my butt. Sheeesh! I got some pain meds and that helped lots, but then I had to make another last minute trip to my regular vet two days later. I have a urinary tract infection, perhaps caused by stress?

I am lots better now, but I am still spending most of my daytime napping behind the couch. I am very cautious around the foster Pip. He is such a gentle kitten, not aggressive at all. I just don’t want another kitten to get used to; Katie was enough. Hopefully he will find his true forever home soon!

Now on to my happy nip post! Even an old gal like me, at 14 years, can still enjoy some sniffin’ and pawin’ at nip, right? Mom L loaded up the scratcher on our ball chasin’ toy and sat back to see who would try the nip out first. Guess who??? ME!!!

Mom L wasn’t fast enough to catch me rubbing my face in the nip, all she got were my “what’cha lookin’ at” looks!! MOL

You interrupted me!!

And she got another one trying to capture me enjoying myself!

Come on Mom L; cut out that photo stuff!

We sure did get some great video of Katie havin’ a total Nip Out! She wasn’t gonna share that nip with anyone, not even her new buddy foster kitten Pipsqueak.

Katie was too busy to even notice Mom L and her camera.

She was happy to touch noses with foster Pipsqueak but she wasn’t movin’ over to let him onto that scratcher.

When Katie stopped, she just kind’a stared off into space for a bit! Silly Katie.

Whoa!! Why is the room spinning??

When was the last time you had a nip attack??

Artistic Foster Kitten Pipsqueak

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Turns out my newbie foster kitten, Pipsqueak aka Pip, has some artist talent in him. Who knew a street cat could be so creative??!!

Mom L turned Pip and his sidekick Katie loose on her iPad and their efforts and team work created a very stunning piece of art. But, I’ll leave it to my readers’ judgment about whether or not it’s as pawsome as I think.

Pip’s interest in art showed up when he tried to help Mom L get the photos properly edited for me to write my Friday Memes for Friday Smiles. I must say that he selected his edits with care and taste for making the photo look natural.

His next opportunity came when he got access to the iPad. It started out with a blank slate, just that stoopy schmousie that runs all over the screen eeekking and wiggling its tail. You know the game I mean, right?

Pip asked Katie to take a look and assist him in getting things started. You see Pip was a bit shy at first to start paw whapping that schmousie, but foster sisfur Katie had no problem giving it a few whacks to show Pip how it’s done.

Katie then backed off and did some coaching while Pip tried it out.

Now he was on a roll!! He got down up close and purrsonal with that schmousie and all the colors created whenever Pip whapped him one.

Pip stopped to admire his art work and to consider just how he wanted to complete it.

APAWS   APAWS!!!!

Pip’s final art piece revealed!!

If you have created your own artwork, please share in comments!! I’d luvluvluv seeing what my pals are creating!
