OH MY CAT!!! Look What Nerissa Gave ME!!! Brand New!!

Hiya, Savannah Here!

Oh My Cat!! What a busy, busy last few days!!!

While I was focused on getting my first give away managed…my pal, Nerissa, from NERISSA’S LIFE, was busy, busy too…Nessie created a WHOLE NEW AWARD!!! He calls it “THINKING OF YOU”…HOW GREAT IS THAT??!!

And Nessie totally has me gobsmacked ‘cuz he honored me by making me one of the first to receive it. That means, of course…ya guessed it!…I get to help get this GORGEOUS award started moving around the blog world!!
(whispers behind paw…did I tell you that Pansies are one of Mom’s most fave flowers??!!)

To accept the brand new Thinking of You award, one must link back to the one giving you the award, tell seven things you love and think about daily and then pass the award on to seven more blogs.

So, seven things I love and think about daily. Well…lemme see now…
1. My Dad ‘cuz he delivers all my food..Mom ‘cuz she plays with me the most and takes naps with me
2. My fave treat…my prescription hard food…no, seriously! I mean it!…no kidding!!
3. I am thankful for my furrever home where I am safe and cared for
4. Doing my early morning perimeter patrols, upstairs and downstairs in keeping with the #WLF Protocols
5. Using my Bird Watching Tower for watching birds, playing with Mom and naps
6. Morning snuggles and getting my fanny patted by Mom
7. Napping in sun puddles on my stairs

LOL’d by Miss Wendy AND An Award…WOO HOO!!

OH MY CAT! WHAT A DAY I HAD THURSDAY!!

Savvy: “Mom…was that only yesterday???”

Mom: “Yes Savvy, it was only yesterday”

First, I had my humongous PurrPrise announcement and introduction of my OFFICIAL CHAMPION JETTY!!

Second, yesterday was HOOVER DAY here, and I had to keep moving from room to room to find a quiet spot…

Third, just before my left paw (remember, I am a lefty) hit the “PUBLISH” button on my CHAMPION JETTY post…I heard my email dingy bell sound…

…and Fourth …there was an email from Miss Wendy telling me to check out her bloggy, Wendy’s LOL Spot! And THERE I WAS…LOL’D BY WENDY!!!

Now, that was some Thursday, huh???!!! Just in case ya didn’t see my INITIATION by Miss Wendy…be sure to visit her blog post from yesterday. She said some very nice things about me…then…welllll…errrrrr….ummmm…she like basically ROASTED ME!!!

Mom laughed so loud…Auntie Shannon, who not only cleans for us on HOOVER THURSDAYs but she also stays with me when Mom and Dad do ‘get-a-ways’…anyways…Auntie Shannon could hear Mom over the HOOVER noise!!!

Auntie Shannon and Mom decided I should post their favorite picks from Miss Wendy’s LOL Spot and we had Dad pick one too. So, here they are…

ONE MORE THING…I RECEIVED AN AWARD!!!

My San Francisco Bay Area pal, Spitty, from Spitty Speaks, gave me the BLOG ON FIRE award last week!!! How cool is that! I do already have this award…but just knowing that Spitty thinks my bloggy is pretty HOT, HOT, HOT…makes me blush a bit…and I truly appreciate his thoughtfulness…thanks Spitty!!

I think I am supposed to tell ya stuff about me…but I have already done that…But I do want to pass this award forward to 3 blogs I appreciate lots.

The Chronicle of Woos, I really smile efurry time I visit these guys, Phantom, Ciara, Lightning and Thunder! And their post yesterday proves that for Miss Lightning, pay back can be oh so “cool”…go visit and see why!

Jazz Cat Jay, who has been a pal of mine since we both started to blog…he is just one great cool cat…and he has been pawsome in adjusting to his new sister, Miss Satchie (who is my adopted niece…purrrs)

Miss Scylla of Alasandra, The Cats and a Dog…I luvluvluv Miss Scylla. First, her name is so lovely…and she is an inspiration to me…and I just like walking in her garden with her.

A purrPrise: My Champion

Finally…runs in office..slams door…whew! Jumps on chair…hits “PUBLISH” with left paw (I’m a lefty in case ya hadn’t noticed!)

Now it’s all together…the whole story can come out. Mom and I have done a ton of storyboarding on this one…’cuz it kind’a goes back a ways….

…I know this is kind’a long…but it’s gonna be good…trust me…

The question efuury lady cat must ask herself…if and when do I need a CHAMPION to guard my honor?…and ‘cuz of my background, I never thought I would need to ponder(vocab builder) this question.

But, life changes…..

…I used to stare in my Mirror and ask…”what is wrong with me? I think I look OK…I am nice…I keep myself nicely groomed…why doesn’t any huFamily want me…”…

…I would lie in my hidey hole (no one at the shelter ever suspected I had it all tricked out)…and while brushing my fur…wonder…”maybe I don’t have HONOR and that is why no one wants me???…”

…and then this man came along in the shelter, and reached in and petted me, and then his wife did this special rubbing on my ears and head…and, well…you all know the ending…

I WAS TAKEN TO MY FURREVER HOME…and I had HONOR!!!

Then I started to blog my autobiography. Mom helps…and she is the one who put my HONOR at risk…

Remember that June 19 post…My Name Is Not Marilyn???…all those ‘cheesecake shots’ Mom posted!!??

Well! That is what started me to fret (vocab builder) about my HONOR…’cuz of those cheesecake shots Mom posted…I got lots of comments that made me fear my HONOR needed protection…

Chancy, from Chancy The Gardner, warned me…”Oh, my! Sweet Savannah you better lock down the place…there’s going to be mancats scratching at your door….”

The boys over at Katnip Lounge commented: “Boom Chicka Wow Wow:…Mommy! Fainty Mancats clean up in Aisle Three!”

Rumpy Dog had to control June Buggie: “Oh my DOG! *covers screen so June Buggie don’t drool on it*…”

Alfie, over at Mollie and Alfie …commented: “You is smokin HOT girl, has your Mum got a pole?? Yep as they say, if you’s got flaunt it, and you certainly have!…Can’t wait to see some more, I wonder if Mum’s got some Ice cubes as well.”

Kozmo, at Cat from hell said: …”Oh! My! Cod!…Nellie hid your post from me yesterday! Savannah-You are one hot Mama! I could go for a girl like you if I did not have my Calico Rose….Kisses…Kozmo”…

After all those comments…one final comment came in which gave me hope…and an IDEA!!

Finally, my doggie pal, my Mr. Big Guy Jetty from Hi, It’s Jet Here, said:

“Listen with the boys getting a look see at those pics, you’re gonna need protection… and I VOLUNTEER!”

I immediately replied:…”Oh Jetty…you are so big and strong…I would totally feel protected if you were my CHAMPION!!! ….digging in box, throwing stuff out…searching…searching…can’t find it…but I will give you my handkerchief and you can be my official CHAMPION!!”

My Big Guy responded right back, fast as lightening…”Hey, Jetty here. I would consider it a great honor to receive your hankie and take on the role of your CHAMPION…”

I sent back my reply as fast as my paws could type…”ok, let me find that hankie and I will ‘award’ it to ya…”

MY CHAMPION IS MY DOGGIE PAL MR. BIG GUY JETTY!! TAAAAAADAAAAAA!!

Jetty, I promosed you my hanky, and here it is…and I know you will wear it with pride when you are needed…

And Jetty, I had this special badge made for you and I to post on our bloggys so efurryone knows you are my OFFICIAL CHAMPION!!!

That’s my big PurrPrise for efurryone!!! And MY CHAMPION JETTY is just seeing our badge for the very first time today!!! PURRPRISE JETTY, MY BIG GUY!!
