Monday Mentions…Something to Blog About

I talked to Mom and Dad and we all agreed I should make today about what others talk about that captures my interest.  This can’t always be about ME!

To begin, I just learned (paw slap to head) that May 6-12 is Be Kind To Animals Week!!! Duh!! How could I miss THAT!  So here are three blogs that sort of speak to me about what it can mean to Be Kind to Animals…not just this week, but really, all the time…

  • Thank goodness Sparkle reminded me in his blog post today about what an imprtant week this is for us animals.  He has a whole lot to say about how peeps ought to treat us all this week so check out his thoughts on this important subject on the blog for Sparkle Cat
  • Another thing that stuck me this past week was over on my canine pal  Rumpy Dog blog ‘cuz he talked a lot this past week about the Feral Mama cat and her kittens in his yard. Oh my cat! That really brings up the whole “what to do about feral cats” dilemma doesn’t it? The life of feral cats is not a pretty one for sure. Sad with  no perfect answers.
  • Finally, The Blog of Otis , always a fav of mine, got me wandering around his web site the Cult of Otis .  He has some totally thought provoking ideas about the Nine Deadly Sins  regarding becoming a cat Guradian.

I still have lots to say about ME…of course…but sometimes others say stuff way better than me and I like to share it.

I had a great weekend…and got lots of play time in…and most important…I got my sun puddle time in…purrrrrr  Paw pats, Savannah

I’M MAKING CHANGES…

WOW! YEOWSER MEOWSER…WHAT A CHANGE A WEEK MAKES….

So this has been a total hallmark week…and yeah…”pun intended” ‘cuz you could have made a whole bunch of greeting cards out of this week in my autobiography…no, really, I mean it…Seriously…don’tcha believe me???!!!  Come on…of course you do….

So..this week for a SUNDAY recap…

…brand new today…I rediscovered the wonderful white chair…for napping…especially when folks come over to look at our home to buy it…I hung out here today and NO ONE noticed me…except Dad and Mom of course (note the photos!!)…

…and then there is my progess in finding new places I can SAFELY take a snooze nap ….AKA Mom’s pillow…

..then there was the INCREDIBLE progress on the RETURN to the family room couch at night to watch TV and visit…

…and now…as of yesterday…Saturday…I have officially discovered NIP!!!!!!!!…..I totally luvluvluv this toy….covered in NIP….played like a fool….I just had to find it again last night…yeah, yeah, Mom got up and took it away…

…and we finally found a TREAT I TOTALLY LUVLUVLUV!!!!…ROCK MY LITTLE WHITE HIND SOCKS… no, really, it does….

Anyways, that is just a taste of my MAKING CHANGES week…and thanks to all my AniFamily and AniPals and Furriends for your support
