Frolickin’ Friday
HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!
Whoa!! Meow about being ungrateful!! My toesies turned TOTALLY PINK with embarrassment!
I FORGOT to YOWL OUT LOUD about my pawsome furriends Star and Leo over at Celestial Kitties…they passed an award to me…even tho’ I have it already a couple of times…I never ever want to forget furriends who think so kindly of me as to pass an award…THANK YOU STAR and LEO!!
The award is the new rendition of the Team Member Readership Award…
…I have already met all the protocols for accepting this a bit ago…so I now offer this award to any and all furriends who may not yet have it…again, very embarrassing…but I am not sure I even earn this award anymore.
…more embarrassed pink toesies…
…ahem….koff, koff…okey dokey…moving right along…here is something that will make all my furriends slap some smiles on those faces…be you woofie or kitty…you all luvluvluv rescue…RIGHT!!!
Today, Dad and Mom transported 7 kittens, all about 4 months old, to a vet clinic for spay and neuter..
My former Vet , Dr. Thompson, now retired, gives back big time to our community to help spay, neuter and rescue feral and stray cats…all ages. She gives her time and DVM skills, exclusively, with Community Concern For Cats (CC4C)…I have featured them before when Dr Josie was bottle feeding some of their rescues…click HERE…
And there is another PAWSOME DVM, Dr. Linda Miller, who is partnering with Dr Thompson to help our community kitties…she owns and operates Cat Hospital of Clayton…and she donates her surgery to Dr Thompson, who gives her time and vet skills free of charge, to do all this wonderful work for feral kitties seeking their furrever homes and/or just general good health.
PURRlease…show Dr. Linda Miller how much all of Blogville, Twitter Anipals and Facebook Furriends appreciate all she does to help make quality medical care available to “rescue” cats…click HERE to go to Cat Hospital of Clayton’s Facebook page.
And for Ceiling Cat’s sake…PURRLEASE go visit Dr. Josie Thompson’s website…showcasing her very own Kitty Platoon AND the infamous Airborne Squad…click HERE…
…here are some photos of the day of surgery…even a dental for an adult feral who was having trouble eating…most of his toofies were extracted…but he is a really nice adult cat and CC4C will make sure he goes to a furrever home, not back to the feral colony where he has lived…

…now back to my Friday Frocklin’…again, forgive Mom Linda’s rotten voice…she caterwauls horribly…but she so loves me…
Have a great weekend…
