Friendly Friday Frolicks!
What a morning me and Mom had…and it only took us 3 minutes to have a great time together!
Mom was about to walk out of the house for her spinning class at the gym…and she saw me over on my Bird Watching Tower. She thought I looked cute so she grabs the FLASH and CLICK thingy…and comes over to me…
…and BAM! she gets a pretty good shot of my pretty face (blushes)…with my gorgeous white diamond whiskers…nice…we’re done now…
emmmm…maybe not…Mom starts to sing to me…ok, ok…now she has my attention totally…I LUVLUVLUV when Mom sings to me.
..I just go all whacky…so she starts with the usual lilting (vocab builder) lines…Savannah, nana, mo mana, fee fi mo mana, Savannah…makes me start to go crazy…
…I flip over…roll around like a kitten…that’s my nip mousey you can see…now Mom does the…Savannah banana, nana mo…Oh My Cat!…luv it!…I grab the post, flip around and look upside down at her…she keeps on singing and clicking and flashing
…I can’t stop myself….I whip around the post and practically drool….
..now she moves on to the lyrics, again this lilting voice that is so mesmerizing(more vocab builder) to me ever since I came here…nana neeny miny mo…nana mo…manana banana mo…meeny miny mo…Savannah…that’s it! I slam myself over to the other post, looking sort’a skitzoid!!…
….she just keeps on singing away…little girl, pearly girl, little whirly girl…awwwwww….
…finally she stops…gives me a pet or two…and leaves me exhausted from my frolicking about like an idiot!!!….ummmmmm…luvluvluvd that!!!…Thanks Mom!

yeah, you can tell I was totally in heaven! Mom sang to me last night and I did my Precious Prancing Pony move all over the bedroom trying to get to her hand before she reached down to me…we had fun!
You is sooo lucky Savannah Doll, to have a Mum that sings to you. Ours tried it once, Mollie, Dad and I ran out the house like lightning… Talk about Cat’s choir!!

well, ya notice I never said Mom has a ‘great’ voice, she doesn’t even always sing on key…but hey Alfie, she does it for ME! Pretty special, and Dad just shakes his head and leaves…he can’t carry any kind of tune so no hope for him at all…MOL

Savannah that was just the most adorable thing ever! I roll around on my cat tower the same way (the Moms LOVE THAT)…but…if you don’t want the camera in your face you MUST learn to NOT cooperate!
My Mom used to sing that “Banana” song to Grandpa Bobo when he was alive, thankfully she doesn’t sing it to me very much!

Well your Mom sure knows how to capture some good shots of you – all she has to do is sing “your song” !! It’s nice that you have a special thing between the two of you with the singing…….you obviously love it – just look at you posing for her!!! I’m seeing supermodel possibilities Savannah….. 😀

You are SUCH a funny girl! You know what they say about music soothing the savage beast, right? We wonder if you get all nutty to music or just your Mom singing.
hahahaha Savage Beast for sure come this weeked when it is nail trimming time! And it’s only when Mom sings her nonsensical made up lyrics…she doesn’t have a great voice, just sort’a soothing to me I guess…but Dad can’t do it…I like Enya type music and the TV, but when Mom starts with the singing, I show up and get gushy mushy and silly! go figure! Mom thinks someone once sang to me when I was a kitten

awww thanks Brian. I just go whacko as soon as Mom starts with the singing…no matter where I am, I come to her…and I roll around, act all coy and stuff…sometimes we play after that, or she brushes me…purrrrrrr
