Spring Is Here!!…And VBP Begins Anew(VBP)
HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!
I know some of you are still having cold weather and even snow…for my woofie furriends with think furrs, the snow is still welcome…but for the rest of us…we are ready for some sun!
I have a small floral report for my Society of Feline Gardeners post. As soon as I execute
my post for today, I will be padding on over to make my report to Jonesie, at Cory Cat Talks…I know she will wanna see some of my floral displays in my garden.
This is my VBP post for this week…click HERE if you need to refresh your memory about what this is all about.
Grab my badge below…put it on your VBP post sometime in the next 6 days…as soon as you publish it…hop back here to this post and click that little blue froggy at the very end of this post.
So I have just a few flowers to show off today…some are familiar to lots of you like our Daffodils, but we have never had them in our garden before so they are special for me and Mom.
This one isn’t the traditional all yellow…I think it looks very happy in my garden…
Mom found these like mini-Daffs in a pot under a just sprouting rose bush…and there were some purple flowers we don’t know…aren’t the minis so cute!!!???…
Then Mom found this blooming Camellia with the most humongous flowers…they are about the size of a small dessert dish!…you can see it is almost bigger than my Mom’s hand…
And we have more pretty Azaleas blooming…this one just came out and is a pretty blush pink…
The lady who created this wondrous garden was so very clever…she planted flowering ground cover in the pots to surround the potted rose shrubs so there would be color even when the roses were still not blooming…
And this last photo is just for my good furriend Easy…he luvluvluvs this crazy garden art birdie…sorry Trout Towne Tabbies, I know it is a ‘burd’ but Easy like it…here the birdie is close up…cute, huh?!
That’s my garden report…I’ll get it off to Jonesie in just a minute…
Here is the blue froggy linky tool for our VBP Blog Hop…hope you find time to use it…puurrrrs…
This is also the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop…and I want to pawticipate in that too. So here is what I am thankful for…all the incredible furriends who jumped in with paws and feet and the green stuff to help the Cat Blogosphere launch a successful Operation Save The Royals. If you don’t know about the actual rescue, click HERE for my Monday Meowsie News post. I will have more of the back story on The Royals and their huFamily and furrAmily next Monday.

We do love our snow, but we also enjoy the sun. The two together would be a great combo for us:)
Beautiful flowers. We have a few tulips and hyacinths that have been poking their heads through the ground for about 6 weeks now. Mom is hoping all the ups and downs of the temps hasn’t damaged them for blooms.
Woos – Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning

Thank you so much for joining Thankful Thursday and hope you’ll join in each week, so we can get to know you better. Hugs :=o)
Those flowers are pretty, I love daffodils! I’m glad it’s Spring, it’s my favourite time of the year.
You’re so lucky to have all that beauty to look out on every day in your new house Savvy. We have some little green tulip leaves poking out of the cold, hard ground but that’s about it! We’re anxious for some Spring but it’s struggling to get here! Enjoy……..
Kitty Hugs, Sammy
Hi Sammy…I am still packing up for the camping adventure
Daffodils are the happiest flowers I ever saw. That sunshine will make them even happier. I’m pretty sure that garden bird is trying to kill me.
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Daffodils are my favourite flower, the harbinger of spring!! Spring is definitely on the way 🙂
What a lovely garden you have savvy
Love your garden Savvy I think I might have to pop over to have a good nosy around,xx Speedy
Your garden looks magnificent, Savannah and very Springy. We still are freezing here in Holland and no plants in our garden at all 😦
Excellent post! Our Mommy went all googly-eyed over that big camellia. It’s beautiful! Have a great Thursday, furriends. xoxo
I didn’t have time to report on my catnip this week (the only thing in my sorry garden worth writing about), but I do want to say – I saw a STRANGE CAT in my nip! So I am a little annoyed right now.
