One last update on rescue Paloma

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I have the bestest ever Happy Tails Ending to share with you all. Remember my first post about Sweet Baby Girl that Miss Kandi was feeding? And then I shared that Sweet Baby Girl now aka Paloma had been saved by the University of California, Davis program Orphan Kitten Project?

Well, sweet Paloma had four kittens and eventually all were adopted. Except for Paloma.

Loving Paloma was entered into the UCD Fracture Program for rescue animals because no one knew if her broken front leg would need to be amputated or if she could heal it herself with bed rest. GOOD NEWS!! Paloma, with those first weeks of just hanging out nursing her four kittens HEALED her own broken leg.

Next challenge, getting the four kittens adopted and a special home for Paloma. She is only about eighteen months old, just a young kitty.

It happened!! A family who adopted a small doggy from the Fracture Program loved Paloma’s story and they adopted her!! And Paloma turns out to love being with a dog furriend more than a cat furriend! Love just happens, right?

At first Paloma was a loner, finding places to hang out in quiet. But then, she discovered that her new doggy pal had his very own condo? Of course, like any cat, Paloma decided that condo was big enough for two!

She is loving her new home and her new buddy.

Please give Paloma and huge APAWS!!!

Someone idolizes TKS

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I  think most of you know that we have a foster brofur living with us. As for me, I’m not pleased, not pleased at all. I hiss so hard and loud that I have to koff and clear my throat when I’m done! And half an hour later, there he is back again trying to touch my nose. Sheesh!!

Okay, he does throw himself down right in front of me showing his tummy and being all submissive as well he should be, but I gotta tell ya, I sure do hope he finds his forever home really soon.

As for TKS, she is now allowing nose touches on a rare occasion. The foster brofur Pipsqueak seems to idolize TKS. Maybe it’s the fur color? What do you think?

TKS is crazy over an type of treat, and Pip is right there next to her. Pip has even tried to copycat TKS getting into our high cat tower in our master bedroom. Mom L was lying on her side and managed to capture some drunken looking photos of what TKS thinks about having Pip on the tower with her.

He’s down on the next level, right?

Look at Pip’s idolizing gaze.

Ok kid, you better stay one story down

Pip knew he couldn’t go up to the next story or else he’s get a paw whap for sure. Finally TKS fixed the situation so’s she could get her afternoon nap without feeling spied on.

You can watch my back kid

Yep, TKS turned to face the wall and by golly so did Pip!! MOL!!

Do any of your fur siblings idolize your every move?? Tell me how in comments.

Before and After Cuteness

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Just a short post today to share some much needed joy and fun with Mom L’s CC4C (Community Concern For Cats) Kitchen Clinic experiences in kitten season. If you haven’t followed my blog for long, let me tell you just a teeny bit about the CC4C Kitchen Clinic. It is literally held at Miss Gemma’s kitchen. She is the President for CC4C. Mom L and Miss Gemma’s long time friend and Doc of Vet Medicine, Doc Josie, is their presiding DVM. Doc Josie was my purrsonal feline specialist DVM for many years until she retired. She donated her time and skills to these pawsome clinics.

This litter of 4 kittens arrived a bit too small for all the tests, vaccinations that they do at this little clinic. But Doc Josie and Mom L had a great time trying to get these 4 to cooperate in a photo shoot of a “kitten pile”. MOL!!! They were all under two pounds so not so big!

Don’t you dare touch my furr sibs!!!

About a month later, this crew showed up again. And guess who was making sure all of the humans knew SHE was the new Sheriff at Kitchen Clinic???

I am the new Kitchen Clinic Sheriff and you shall not pass me!!!

Give me a shout out in comments what’cha think about this cute Kitten Mob!!
