Dad, I’M Minding My Own Business…OK?

Ok, so I am just hangin’ out in my fave new nap place…my fort I showed you Tuesday.  Anyway, I hear Mom tell Dad (she was headed for the gym)…she said “try to get ‘her’ to move, play with her, she can’t stay in that fort all day”…

WHAT? Why can’t a cat nap in its fave fort all day? Why do Mom and Dad have to interfer with my day?  Ooohhhhhhh…I get it….this is part of my ‘fitness recovery’ process…got it! Don’t like it, but got it!

So Dad tries hard to get me out of my fort, but his attempts are a bit lame…

…now I try really  hard to tell him with my look “Dad, I’m not movin’!!!”…

He laughs, I laugh…and then he figures out he lost that round…and he leaves me to my fort nap. Score one for the cat…high paws! paw pump!!

I’M MAKING CHANGES…

WOW! YEOWSER MEOWSER…WHAT A CHANGE A WEEK MAKES….

So this has been a total hallmark week…and yeah…”pun intended” ‘cuz you could have made a whole bunch of greeting cards out of this week in my autobiography…no, really, I mean it…Seriously…don’tcha believe me???!!!  Come on…of course you do….

So..this week for a SUNDAY recap…

…brand new today…I rediscovered the wonderful white chair…for napping…especially when folks come over to look at our home to buy it…I hung out here today and NO ONE noticed me…except Dad and Mom of course (note the photos!!)…

…and then there is my progess in finding new places I can SAFELY take a snooze nap ….AKA Mom’s pillow…

..then there was the INCREDIBLE progress on the RETURN to the family room couch at night to watch TV and visit…

…and now…as of yesterday…Saturday…I have officially discovered NIP!!!!!!!!…..I totally luvluvluv this toy….covered in NIP….played like a fool….I just had to find it again last night…yeah, yeah, Mom got up and took it away…

…and we finally found a TREAT I TOTALLY LUVLUVLUV!!!!…ROCK MY LITTLE WHITE HIND SOCKS… no, really, it does….

Anyways, that is just a taste of my MAKING CHANGES week…and thanks to all my AniFamily and AniPals and Furriends for your support

Oh What A Night…

I don’t know what got into me last night…but I was like a totally crazy cat for playing!!

Mostly I used my karate moves, but I also managed to get in some moves sort’a like Moma Cat on the Cult of Otis blog.  She has a fav of hers that I am practicing, but I am doing it in the reclined mode.  You’ll see my rendition of that incredible move of hers…gonna take a lot of practice!

So first, I’m concentrating on getting the “wax on wax off” move with my front paws…building upper body strength to get faster with this move…takes concentration ya  know…

Then I move on to practicing Moma Cats Flying Squirrel move…but I have a different take on it ‘cuz I don’t jump like her…so I am working on the Reclined Flying Squirrel…here ya see me working on the Half Reclined Flying Squirrel move…it ‘s important to look crazed when doing it so ya gotta work on the facial expression too…

Finally, I got in some karate kick stuff…again, notice I am doing it from the floor…reclined position…really requires a lot of ab control…pretty hard actually…

Then…I got a really good brushing to cool me down…and I cuddled first half of the night with Dad and then I switched about half way through the night to Mom…I share my lovely soft warm bod’ between them…makes ’em happy!
