Monday Meowsie News…

Hiya! Savannah Here!

What a week this has been! And first and foremost (vocab building project VBP) is my heartfelt wishes to all furriends and their families who had to host the intruder Sandy…and especially now for those who are still having to deal with her aftermath. Purrrrssss keep coming your way…..

Then, we had the Blog Blast For Peace just yesterday…OMC! That was so fantabulous and so purrleased I could join for the first time ever…thank you Ann, Zee and Zooey from Zoolatry for sending out the email that let me know it was gonna happen!

Next, well I, myself, had a couple of breakthroughs (VBP)…meaning I did some stuff that was different from before we moved…

For one, I stopped getting on the couch with Mom at the old house…I did at first, while she was watching TV at night, then I just stopped and never did it much again. Now at the new  house, I get up on the couch with her almost every night, of course I stay and the opposite end from Mom and make my biskits…but I get up there.

Well, Dad and Mom went to breakfast Sunday, and came home to find MOI reclining and napping on my fave blue afghan ON THE COUCH without Mom having to be on it!! First time, EVER, that I have made the couch all mine and mine alone…sigh…nice!

Then, when Auntie Shannon was here on Thursday, HOOVER DAY, she was chatting with Mom like girls do…and Auntie Shannon had left her Starbucks coffee on the kitchen counter…I could smell it.   So while they chatted…I explored…much to both their surprise!

…well, well, well…what do ya know…there’s stuff up here!…(this is after I helped myself to s sniff and teeny taste of Auntie Shannon’s coffee…heh…heh)…

…not as far up here as I first thought…

…talk to the tail Mom!!!…

One more thing new…Mom thought I should have a Nip N Nap Mat for upstairs in our bedroom, so she found a new one for $7 USD on Ebay…and she filled it with some premium nip buds, then left it on the stairs so she could remember to take it up to our bedroom…

…Mom started around the dark corner last night to go up before dinner, she reached down to pick up the Nip N Nap Mat…and I let out my sweetest chirp!…Yup! startled the heck out of her!…there I was…finally having found a way to continue my Staircase Troll Job in our new house!!…

…so I decided to let Mom go on up…so I started down…

…every soooooooo sllllooooowwwllllyyy…stretching with each step…

…stopped at the entry rug, which is actually MY rug just for my scratch pad and spin ball toy…”What?…I didn’t do anything!”…

…and again later last night…there I was right back on the Nip N Nap Mat…”talk to the back of my head Mom!”…

…this time…really checking out that premium nip…hmmmm….maybe I do like nip a bit after all??…

I need to link back to my furriend who gave me the award, so just in case you  missed it above, here is Nellie’s link again.  And then I need to tell you  Seven Things About Me…most of ’em you probably already know ‘cuz I have meowed lots about ME…but here ya go…

One: I am now officially addicted to me Peacock Feather Toys…I don’t play with anything else right now

Two: When Mom doesn’t have that FLASH and CLICK thingy in her hand, I like to give my plush Sibe furriend Nanuk kisses and head butts…heh…heh

Three: I luvluvluv doing my Life Changing Interviews with Savannah: Real Rescue Cats and Dogs Are Talking…I learn so much from efurryone!

Four: I found a cat treat I really, really like…finally says Mom!  It is Friskies Original Party Mix, Chicken, Liver and Turkey…yum, yum

Five: I sometimes wake up in the night and cry to get Dad or Mom to pet me and help me feel safe, then I throw myself down as close as I can get to Mom…she usually ends the night with not much room on the bed!

Six: I like my new home better than our other home ‘cuz it is smaller and I don’t lose Mom so much

Seven: I cannot believe how blessed I am to have so many furriends from all over this whole big world who I care about, like to visit, and who I look forward to seeing in my comments as often as life allows them to come by.

THANK YOU NELLIE FOR GIVING MY AN OPPORTUNITY TO SAY THANK YOU TO SO MANY

Here are my furriends I want to pass the award along to and hope they will each share SEVEN thing with all of us. Some are new to me and I hope for some of you too…no order of preference…

Nylablue and Sherri Ellen’s Purrfect Pad , home to my brand new bestest girl furriend, Nylablue and her Mom Sherri-Ellen…they are new to Word Press and paw blogs so give a warm welcome purrlease.

The Chronicle of Woos also known as the OP Pack, Ciara, Thunder, Phantom, Lightning…currently being held hostage in an enclosure with a “No Sibe May Go Beyond This Fence” notice…something about keeping the grass healthy???

The Army of Four Digest, known to furriends as Ao4, made up of Zim and Dave…Zim does the adventuring and Dave does the Mom smoozing!

My Big Guy personal Champion and close furriend, Jetty, Hey, It’s Jet Here…always the consumate (VBP) quality control taste tester for his Mom, Miss Lori, when she creates for her Kitchen Counselor business.

My good NY furriend, Texas, A Cat in New York…and his new sister Kitshka and big bro’ Milou…who is such a push over mancat once he got to know Miss Kitshka…

And of course, I have so been missing one of my first buddies, Jazz Cat Jay, All That Jazz Cat…who is back with his sib Miss Satchie (who is my furry special little niece and she calls me Auntie Savvy)…

Finally, but not least by any means, my new furriend Brut, 24 Paws of Love, and all his fur sibs…Brut gave Mom the opportunity to share her heart Siberian Mischa with you yesterday, thank so much Brut for your birthday challenge!

Have a wonderful Caturday…now I have to rush off and tell my Seven award winners that I passed this along to them…Paw Pats, Savannah

Reporting on My New Garden

Hiya! Savannah Here!

Whew, what a busy day. First, it was Auntie Shannon day, which means HOOVER DAY!!!  So I spent time up when she was down and down when she was up.

Then Mom had busy stuff to do for hours on the phone, so I had to wait and wait to get my blog post done.  This is my first ever time trying to start reporting occasionally on my garden for the Society of Feline Gardeners.  I don’t go out in my garden, but I do snoopervise the photos Mom takes.

I have reported my garden review to my furriend, Jonesie, from Cory Cat Blog, who is the head of the Society of Feline Gardeners.

…my new garden is so pretty, and it attracts lots of hummers…

…here are some different daisies we have in the garden…red, purple and yellow…at least we think they are all daisies…these yellow ones are in a pot…

…more yellow ones, but they are a hugmongous (VBP) shrub…

…we think these are daisy like flowers, but a shrub and bright red…

…then I noticed the purple like daisy shrub blooming away and directed Mom to get a photo of that one too…

…now these are little red bells and OMC! do the hummers ever luvluvluv them!…

…last, these little carnation like tiny flowers are planted in the pot of a rose bush…they look like some kind of ground cover to fill in the bottom around the rose…they just started blooming like crazy!…

That’s it for my report on my garden. I hope some of you will tell us the names of these beautiful flowers.  Well, I hope Jonesie likes my first report to him.

Paw pats, Savannah
