Hiya! Savannah Here!
Whew! Over 11 days we had two separate intruders visiting!!!
Thank Ceiling Cat the last one left yesterday…and by the way intruder…don’t let that door smack ya on the toshy going out!
I have spent the last 11 days mostly in this very spot…all day long…this is Mom’s side of the bed of course…
…and I have kept my eyes and nose covered so the intruders’ nasty cooties can’t get me…
…AND…Dad and Mom have hardly played with me at all…(wipes leaky eyes with cute dainty white paw)…
But, the nasty intruders are gone and we are working on getting back to normal…and MOVE!!! Already the boxes are appearing…but I’m thinking I may have opportunity to explore some…so I will keep you posted on what I find…
Oooopppss…I digressed…appologies…back to my Monday Meowsie News…
So, even tho’ it has been a harsh past 11 days, I have done a couple of things that were noteworthy (vocab building project VBP)…
…first, as you know, I am not really a “nip” kind’a girl…but Mom did get me this really cute mousie nip toy sometime ago…
…and…she caught me playing with it!…yeah, you got it right…I am giving it the old rabbit kick of death…heh heh…
…now gnawing on it a bit for taste value…hmmm, not bad…
…WHAT MOM??!!…sheeesh…first you give me no attention ‘cuz of your intruders guests, and now you expect me to keep performing???…NOT!
I thought I gave her a pretty good “stinky eye” look…don’t ya think so??
And my other Meowsie News that is really pretty big…I had my brekkies with Dad and Mom and THE INTRUDER!!…TAAA DAAAA…getting braver all the time….(those are her toesies in the photo so I was pretty close)…
I also had to endure getting my nails whacked before both intruders showed up…once again…traumatic (VBP) for me, Mom and Dad…but now I am not getting stuck in the carpet when I play on the stairs or make biskits on my afghans, so it was all good.
ONE LAST THING:
PURRLEASE, EVERYONE…ACCEPT MY APPOLOGY for not having been a regular visitor to your blogs over the last week or so. And I know I have not been responding to your thoughtful comments regularly either. Because we are moving I may have to be irregular even more over the rest of September and that makes me so upset…I miss efurrybody!
Perhaps some of you have moved on or don’t visit as often because of this, but I hope to win you back. I can see my readership has consistently dropped for the last couple of weeks so I will be working with Mom to get a survey out to all of you, in a couple of weeks, to help me learn what I can do to improve.
I made a commitment, it’s in my Mission Statement, to blog every day for at least one year to share my daily progress as I recover as much as I can from being an adult rescue cat…and I have added trying to share the experiences of other adult cats and adult dogs. So, my visitors are impawtant to me…
