How Do You Like My New Tabby Cat Stripes?

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

As you know I am a member in great poor standing at The Tabby Cat Club. Ahem…koff…koff…

Ummm—let me start over. I have not pawticipated in The Tabby Cat Club for a while. Not because I don’t want to, but all because Mom L won’t help me. So there! I admitted it. So I decided I needed some new Tabby Cat Stripes to remind her that I do indeed belong to TTCC!

How do ya think I did when I added my new Tabby Cat Stripes?

I think my new Tabby Cat Stripes look wonderful on my gray furs

Do you think my new Tabby Cat Stripes bring out the green in my eyes??

Hope Mom L gets the message—I miss The Tabby Cat Club

PAW PATS, SAVANNAH

pEEeSS—Major paw pats to all of you who are helping me put captions on all the photos I posted on Wednesday. Remember, you are selecting ONE WHOLE SERIES to follow through from the first photo in the series to the last. You are telling a story about what you think that one kitty in your chosen series was thinkin’ about bein’ at the Cat Kitchen Clinic. On Monday, January 16 I will post only those captions where my readers followed through on at least one complete series of photos.

This is gonna be fun so you had best drop by and check out the creative captions!

Your participation is inspirational!!

Packing Up Our Tree

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I owe my readers an apology for not letting ya know I wasn’t gonna get a blog post up last Friday. Truth to tell, I didn’t know I wasn’t gonna be able to. You see, the day before was Mom L’s birthday and well—(shuffling paws) Mom L kind’a forgot. But she really did have more important things to do because Dad P had some of her very special friends over to help her celebrate.

As for packing up our Christmas stuff, we all got it done the day after Christmas. I decided to nap and let everyone else get the hard work done.

The Kid Sage helped Dad P with the final packing up—the Christmas Tree was going back into its box until next year.

Dad P, I'm not sure this is the box for the tree?

Dad P, I’m not sure this is the box for the tree? Will it fit?

TKS helped get every single ornament off the tree and packed away. But she was worried about her pal the Christmas Tree. She wanted her to be comfy napping away for a whole year.

Yep, you were right Dad P. This is the right box. It fitted and it sitted perfectly!

Yep, you were right Dad P. This is the right box. It fitted and it sitted perfectly!

But as Dad P started to get the tape out to close up the tree, TKS began to get anxious.

Dad P? Can our Christmas Tree come out again to be with me next year?

Of course it will come out again next year TKS! Silly kitty! And after the Christmas Tree was safely and carefully placed in storage, we all said good bye to the Christmas Season of 2016. Hope yours was lots of fun and that you are ready for our New Year called number 2017!

Kittens in a Window

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Kittens in a window at the holiday time are sure to draw a crowd. And that was totally true when Mom and Dad visited The City on the Bay the last week of November.

San Francisco’s downtown Macy’s store has a holiday tradition of giving a few windows over to the San Francisco SPCA. Their windows in the front of the store are impressive.

But the windows in the side and back are set up to house available kittens and puppies. They only display the youngsters because they are not distracted one bit by all the commotion and traffic outside their little window world. Adult cats and woofies could not tolerate this as you can all understand.

For your delight I asked Mom to share the kittens she and Dad visited on their short get away. Please forgive some of the window glare, Mom doesn’t have a proper camera so ya get what she gets. Na’mean??

Mine! No! Mine!!

Mine! No! Mine!!

And the little orange tabby boy was confused to say the least. He kept on looking up above his enclosure wondering what fabulous thrills awaited his discovery!!

Holy Ceiling Cat! This is way fun back here!

No so fast young man!

Ohhhh—wonder if I can get up there?

Ohhhh—wonder if I can get up there?

You are gonna have to take your turn.

What do ya mean "wait"?

What do ya mean “wait”?

And then he called on the big guns—I’m still waiting to learn if Santa Paws answered his request.

Whoa!! Thanks Santa Paws for my new home!!

Of course Mom cannot turn away from a kitty with gray furs like mine.

Mom Linda, where do you want me to look?

Mom Linda, where do you want me to look?

Mom finally got through to her.

Oh! You want me to look over here!

Oh! You want me to look over here!

I am sure these kittens in the window put a little smile on your face on a Monday. Rest assured that they have all been adopted. Who can turn down such a deal at a Macy’s, right?

PAW PATS, SAVANNAH

Remember Momma Kat. She still waits. Thank you for your purrs and POTP. I have no new photos to share, so sorry.
