First sweet Koko you all met in an earlier blog post right here!

Mom L and Dad P go to visit Koko at his Pet Food Express “temp” home. He is gonna get a new roomie tomorrow, but you have to come back on Monday to learn who that is.

And now for adorable Pumpkin, all fourteen pounds of him!! He already has rescue partners wanting to transfer him from my county animal services to their own rescues.

Don’t you think just about anyone would want this lovely mancat???

Let me know in comments if you enjoy seeing some of my Paw It Forward cats show up in Friday Memes. I like to keep this light and fun and don’t wanna have my readers miss out on the silliness TKS and I are known for.

SPECIAL BLOG POST: #RememberMeThursday #RememberTheRescue

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I do not regularly post on Thursdays, but this Thursday is an exceptionally special day. The Helen Woodward Animal Center is hosting a social media event which I sure hope is shared across the world.

Remember Me Thursday is a special day they set aside and ask the world to join to help bring a huge spotlight on all the animals still left without homes in shelters. If we all SHARE as many social media posts as possible we can give voice to these animals who do not have our social media presence. LET’S PAW IT FORWARD!!

This unique event is a purrfect time for me to also share how thankful I am that The Kid Sage and I are able to have a wonderful, loving home where we are treated like royalty! We are proud former adult shelter rescue cats who are now able to give voices to those who have not yet been able to follow us into their own homes. We will never forget our time in an animal shelter where we longed for someone to say the magic words—”I PICK YOU!!”

I was so very scared!

But my Dad P and Mom L did say “I pick you!”

My fifth day I risked being close to Mom’s feet. See my paws making bread?

And The Kid Sage was even more fortunate cuz she didn’t have to spend more than like seven days in the public shelter. I had to spend three months there and then a year at Kitty Corner waiting for someone to notice me even though I was so shy. TKS was only at Kitty Corner for about ten days before Dad P found her.

I sure do hope he has space in his heart for me

Our stories turned out with Happy Tails Endings. Please SHARE my blog post and every social media post you find with this hashtag—#RememberMeThursday or this one—#RememberTheRescue. Together we can save them all.

I am joining my pal Brian’s Home Thankful Thursday Blog Hop on this very special day. Thanks tons Brian for hosting such an important blog hop. Just click on the badge below to transport over to check out all the other Thankful Thursday blog posts.

A Favorite Sun Puddle Time of Year

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

No matter if you are a woofie or kitty, I bet’cha you are much like me—meaning that you have your very own favorite sun puddle during particular times of the year.

My favorite sun puddle in May to early June is in our master bedroom. We have an unusable balcony with a sliding glass door which is covered with what Mom L refers to as “those ugly vertical blinds”. Now TKS and I have no idea why she  doesn’t like the blinds because we both enjoy inserting our bodies in among those very same blinds in search of a special sun puddle this time of year.

Actually Mom L may be referring to the fact that “said blinds” do tend to fall off their track when we kitties push among them to find this special seasonal sun puddle. But I say “ppfffft!” It’s a sun puddle! Who cares about getting to it.

But I have digressed. ‘Scuse me. Let me move along. So this morning Mom L saw me getting ready to settle into this special seasonal sun puddle and she decided to make my morning pleasure into a photo shoot! Yep, she did that very thing.

*sigh* “Such a nice morning”

I realized quickly that I was being spied on by the Momarazzie and let her know I knew.

“got’cha Mom L! I see you and that smartie pants phone”

But then I saw a shadow and knew some bird was offering itself up for some bird TV viewing so I had to take my attention away from Mom L for a second.

“Hey birdie! Come back around one more time!”

Trust me! I did not forget that Mom L was usurping my morning leisure time in a favorite seasonal sun puddle for her “Savannah Photo Shoot”!!

“OK!! Alright already! I see you snapping away on that smartie pants phone!”

I did get in the last harrummppff at Mom L when I started to give her my *back of disdain*. Not sure that made a difference but it sure did make me feel in charge!

“Mom L? This is it, I am done. Now scoot away and mind your own business!

Do your humans ever invade you when you are enjoying a favorite seasonal sun puddle??? How do you get them to move along and leave you alone?? Give me a yeowl out or woof out in comments.
