Thursday Purrsday…

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

It is the season of giving and I am again pawticipating in the wonderful Secret Paws 2013 event sponsored by Sweet Purrfections.

Last year was my very first year and I luv’d shopping with Mom for the prezzies I wanted to put in my package for the kitties for whom I was their Secret Santa Paws!

Hmm..just the right paper

So this year I was very excited to get my new kitty list and start finding prezzies for the package I was sending. Of course, this year…I again did most of the snoopervising of what went in the box, how it was wrapped and made sure the box was just the right size.

But, Mom made me let the kid, Sage, do a little bit too…she did OK…sort of…

Well the kid has to call me something, so she came up with Your Highness Savannah (YHS)…works for me so far.

We are both. Sage and I, very, very thankful that we have been able to send something to other woofies, cats and wildlife living in sanctuaries this holiday season. Being Secret Santa and helper to another feline home is only part of what we have been up to. It is what we do every year at this time…we ask family and friends to donate rather than give us anything. We have enough…giving makes us happy and grateful for what we already have ourselves.

Monday Meowsie News…What a Treat!

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I have a few things I think you are going to want to see today. First and foremost…let me tell you what a time I gave Mom and Dad with my snail mail Holiday Cards!! (this little Holiday photo of me is courtesy of my BFGF (best feline girl furriend) Cathy Keisha…cute, huh?)

Well…actually…it was all Mom’s fault you see…she signed me up for not ONE but TWO Holiday card exchange lists!!…heh…heh…we never knew that the woofies and kitties have SEPARATE lists!! YIKES!!!

So you can bet that Zazzle card shop made some green papers from us this year…the best part is though…I am getting to know like a TON of new woofie and even some kitty furriends…pawsome I tell you, simply pawsome…I have also been receiving some beautiful ecards and so I hope you enjoy viewing them in this slideshow…(you can click to bigify)

Now let me tell you something I learned from one of my new woofie furriends…Freedom, Nikki, Casper…all retired Greyhounds and their feline furramily member 17 year old Twinkie. There is a place you can make all your used postage stamps give back again…here is what Miss Lori wrote in the card I received from What Remains Now…

“Wondering what to do with all those stamps on the Holiday Cards you receive??…send them to me, Miss Lori Lohymeyer. I collect the used postage for a friend in the UK who writes the blog Graceful Greyhounds…she collects them for the retired Greyhound Trust. Just collect all those used postage stamps, all year if you want, and send it to me and I will send it to my friend in the UK.”

If you are willing to do this, just send Mom Linda an email and she will send you Miss Lori’s mailing address in Indianna. lcrodgers at sbcglobal dot net. I don’t wanna put Miss Lori’s personal address in a very public blog post. We have been saving them like crazy and will send them off to Miss Lori after January 1…then once every 4-6 months. What an easy way to help care for retired Greyhounds. I stole a photo of one of her Greyhounds resting up after all that running career…*giggle*…isn’t she sweet?!

I have been visiting like a crazy cat since Friday…I still have lots more to catch up on…but I figure I visited about 50 or more furriends and made sure to read the last 3 posts as much as I could…you guys have ALL been so busy!! And what fun it is to see you again…if you haven’t seen me in your comments the last 3 days…tag me my comments and I will be right over!!! PURROMISE!

Friday Frolics…Me and the ‘Kid’

HIYA!!! SAVANNAH HERE!1

What a wild week!! That kid, Sage, has been all over me!! Yup…not kidding. Every time I “walk” she attacks…not good, not good…If I am at Mom’s side…I can defend myself ‘cuz I am more confident.

You see…that is our my problem…I don’t have self confidence *embarrassed ears*. When Foster Sisfur Sage stalks and then jumps me…I hunker down…defending myself….sigh…if only I could learn to stand up on my hind legs and give her a “smick, smack, patty, whack”…*snicker*

Good new is…I am still playing when I can with Mom…and hanging out with her and Dad in the morning and early evening…and I do still luvluvluv my tunnel play…

OK…bring it on…

Got it!!

Chomp!!!

What?? I am so outta here..

And of course the ‘kid’…she will play with anything…anytime…here she is stealing my silvervine fishie…

peeEss…purrlease forgive me for not being around on your blogs with comments…we read every day…and manage to comment on only about 10 each day…and if you chose to not follow me anymore…that’s cool too…I know I have become invisible for a while and I cannot excuse myself anymore…I care…I luvluvluv you all…I try to pawticipate in furriends’ contests and raffles and such…just to stay connected.
