Monday Meowsie News…Award and A Pink Beddie

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I have awards I am so negligent in acknowledging… *glares at Mom Linda*…and one we cannot even find but *I* think I know who it came from…hope I don’t embarrass myself…*sigh*…human staff…what are we supposed to do…can’t do it ourselves ‘cuz of the ‘thumb’ thingy…but sheeesh! You’d think they could be better at serving us by now…just sayin’….

First up…my very good adventure pal, Nerissa, of Nerissa’s Life, created the new Opposites Attract Award..and passed it to me in ~~her~~ his (just kidding Nissy MOL)…first awardees…

The protocols are simple:

So my ending to my Monday Meowsie News is very special to me…my Dad Peter…*blushes*…well…he went on line and bought, just for me..his furry special Princess…a furry special beddy…PINK…ahem…right Dad…*Fuchsia*. Then he put it first in the living room where I would get comfy with it…

…and today…being this GREAT Dad he is…he put my new *fuchsia* bed in the guest bedroom–aka “Leo’s Room”–just to see if I would find it and like where he put it…heh…heh…what do YOU ALL think happened???

Monday Meowsie News…The Nip and Me?

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

What an exciting event around “Casa Savannah”..I received my first ever request from a pet product company to review a product! Of course I said YES immediately…I could see piles of free peacock fev-vers coming to me for my special review….SWEET!

And finally the day came when my first product to review for a pet product company arrived. I had Mom rip it open…and we both just stared…in dismay…can you guess what they sent to “ME“???…and of course how could they ever know…not their fault…we should have warned them…you all know by now what product they sent to, of all cats, Savannah….

CATNIP

The Natural Pet Company was so kind to provide me, Savannah, with an extra large bag of their special natural catnip…the nip was provided free of charge, I was allowed to keep all unused nip and I was not offered any compensation whatsoever for giving my completely honest review of this product. Bless their hearts, I just could not be the only cat to review their product so I sent Mom over to my former residence, Kitty Corner.

It was the only fair thing to do, knowing as you all do that…ahem…ahhhhh…yeah, well…I just do not do ‘nip’…*sigh*

Kitty Corner has some youngsters right now, but adults and even seniors too…Mom and Dad spread some piles around for them to sample…I think it was a huge SUCCESS…what do you think?

If that video doesn’t convince you…have a look through this slideshow and see some pawsome cats loving this nip…and remember…each and every one of these kitties needs a forever home…just sayin…

There were at least 12 cats who dug into that nip…I’d say that was 48 PAWS UP for The Natural Pet Company catnip!!

But it didn’t seem enough…so I sent Mom over to my former vet, Dr Thompson…she provides MREs (mice ready to eat) for her Kitty Platoon...six adult cats…very discriminating tastes…this would be a good trial for this special nip for sure…

First, Special Forces trained Toby, 14 years old, was given a pile to sample…

YUM!!

He couldn’t get enough..he would not allow that tabby cat next to him to even get a sniff! Next up…Captain Fokker…a tabby senior officer and leader of the Platoon…he is 12 years old…

The Kitty Platoon gives that catnip 20 PAW UPS…this catnip is really something!!

Now, the final test…Mom filled my most favorite toy, my very first nip toy she ever bought for me when Dad and Mom brought me to their home as a ‘foster’ adult rescue cat. Mr Scruffy Schmousie is a much loved, somewhat tattered, catnip toy that seldom ever has any nip in him…it doesn’t matter to me…at least we thought that was true…watch the video and see if you think having Mr Scruffy stuffed to busting with The Natural Pet Company Special Catnip had any affect on me…(be sure to watch until at least second 25…just a suggestion)

Wooooeeeee!!! That catnip has some real kick to it!! Mom had to put Mr Scruffy’s tummy back in him ‘cuz I got so carried away I pulled it trying to get to that yummy nip!

This CATNIP is the very first ever, and I mean EVER!…catnip to receive my, Savannah’s, FOUR PAWS UP approval!! I will never be without it again and all my nip toys will be filled with…*looks over shoulder to Mom*….Right?

So, my product review of their catnip ended with 72 PAWS UP!!!

Today is a really special day for a great special pal of mine…my adventure buddy and the best cat innovator and inventor I ever met and he loves time traveling just like me…my pal Nerissa posted his 200th post Sunday…purrlease hop over and give him a big congratulations!

Hope you enjoyed my first product review…and let me just give a little reminder…Ray Charles and Rachel are getting bigger every week…they need a furrever home ASAP…please don’t forget these two black panthers…remember, Ray Charles may have limited sight, but his face is precious and he plays and acts all crazy like any other 9 month old kitty.

Friday Frolics…A New Viceroy

HIYA!!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

In case you don’t know…my good furriend, actually my BBAFF (Best Bay Area Feline Furriend) King Spitty, has been appointing Viceroys, to serve him, as he manages his vast San Francisco Bay Area empire.

And of course…he selected ME…his BBAFF…as his NEW VICEROY…of the infamous new span of our cherished BAY BRIDGE…this bridge connects my East Bay area with King Spitty’s San Francisco Peninsula. There are other bridges that do the same..but none as well known as the BAY BRIDGE.

Isn’t it just beautiful??? Well, I know that other Viceroys have been appointed for other parts of this bridge…BUT…always remember…King Spitty appointed ME as Viceroy of the NEW BAY BRIDGE….*sigh*….*bows head with humility*

So, I had Mom do some shopping on line with me….you see…King Spitty sent me my formal Viceroy Medallion, but I simply had NOTHING to wear with it…we found something we just luvluvluv’d and then I had my formal portrait sitting done…

Well I was so purrleased that King Spitty agreed to wear his formal attire for this photo…you should have seen him in his nekked furrs like Mom Linda and Dad Peter did just before this photo was taken…heh…heh…

I asked Mom and Dad what was their most wondrous memory of catching a brief glimpse of King Spitty in his home domain…and they both said “his floofy tail” followed him around like a royal robe! So sorry the photos are blurred…but King Spitty was very fast to avoid the pawpawrazzi…

Just playing with you all…King Spitty is generous with his time and favors as all the ladycats know around the cat blogosphere. And CK…I want you to know Spitty never ever let Mom even photo that special blue pillow you and he share…purrrrs from your BFGF…

peeEss...I may not be around to visit ‘cuz the peeps are leaving me with Auntie Shannon again…and now they have some kind of pawpawrazzi purrson coming to take photos and video to make sure I am being a proper ladycat…SERIOUSLY!!…do any of you believe I would EVER throw a house trashing pawty????….*snicker*…
