Well I don’t know about all of you…but there are times when I really want to rip around the living room chasing that red dot or my peacock feather…and then there are times when I like to play nice and easy…I just always need to have the upper paw if you know what I mean…can’t let a feather stay on top; right? And we do have to keep the staff entertained…even when we are not totally into the game…na’ mean??
Now some of you have been leaving comments about how nice I was to allow invite The Kid Sage to start off the post last Friday. Don’t confuse seeing us in the same post as ‘seeing us together’ all buddy buddy. We are still a long ways from there…let me tell you!
You see she just can’t help herself…she is drawn to my awesomeness….no, really…honestly…it’s true….she just cannot stay away or keep her sneaky gold eyes off me…I say ‘whatever’…
Our ‘togetherness’ goes like this…on a good day…(be sure to hover over to see captions and click on photo to bigify and see total caption if parts are missing…’K?)
Her she comes…pretending
Right! Like she doesn’t see me on the couch
Oh! Surprise! HRHS
Hisssssssssssssssss…koff, koff
Good..look away
You’d think that outta teach her, right? No way…she just keeps on staring…like what…wanna be furriends? OK…then keep a 10 foot distance, minimal…what?…you can’t…unhuh…
Staring again…
Hissssssssssss…koff,koff
Whoa! What’s this on my toes?
There, that calmed me a bit
Oh yeah, like that will fool me
And it just keeps going downhill after that…
Not looking…”..are too!!”
Fine, I’m looking…spffftt!
La-dee-da…just marking
I see her!
I really shouldn’t..but…
Finally…busted after she leaves that box ostensibly to ‘just roam’….HAH! Caught on camera by Mom sneaking up behind the couch on which ‘I’…’HRHS’ am reclining.
I have been purrring non-stop with the kindness of my furriends.
I am so fortunate to have all of you
First, my very good girl furriend Nylablue was so pleased that our mutual furriend Misaki, who won the Monster Contest during Sammy’s Moon Trip , donated his prize to her…well she turned right around AND…she asked Sammy to give it to me…ok, ok…and The Kid Sage too…there, I said it *whips head around to glare at typist staff*. The point is…both Misaki and Nylablue are so generous…thank you to both.
Anyway, wasn’t that just so kind and generous of Mz Sweet Feet Nylablue! APAWS! APAWS!
Check out what was in the package…it was some way cool stuff….even two coupons for a brand of litter…we don’t use it but we sent it right over to my former rescue shelter.
Keep your eyes on that Lion
Well…I had not even had a chance to SEE this package before Miss Priss, The Kid Sage (Mom calls her Pistol Pants too…*snicker*)…took liberties by slobbering on everything! She even tried to carry that Lion off to nom on him…the very idea!!….haruummppff!! (hover over photo to see captions)
Prezzies!!!
Sniff, schlurp…
nudge, nudge
bitey bite…snatch!
I had Mom clean off that poor Lion so I can give him some attention…heh…heh
Also, I have had my purr-motor cranked on high speed because some of my readers were so wonderfully kind to write EXTRA limericks for ME!! I posted last Friday Frolics day about my cool limerick composed by none other than the Oz man himself…well in the comments on my post 2 furriends left NEW ONES ABOUT ME!!…ok,, alright…and one for The Kid Sage
First from someone who visits me regular…and I am embarrassed that I don’t know who it is…we only can see the comment is from:
franhunne4u
http://inhannover.wordpress.com/ and this is the blog link but it is not a cat blog…but thank you and I hope you see this post…here is what they wrote for me..
A cat named Savannah in Cali only accepted cat food from the deli she hissed at the Sage and punished her slaves but she is a very cute feli
My furriend Nylablue also wrote a cutie for me…so funny!
Dere once waz a kitteh named Savvy who didn’t like bikitz n gravy.. She lubz her toyz n her tunnel Butt she won’t go into a funnel… n now diz kitteh givez a wavey!
And this one was done for The Kid Sage…we are again very red faced because we do not know whose blog this comes from…but thank you Selleck and Emily the human…
Little Sage may be a bit of a pest, when you’re trying to get some rest, but eventually you will find, that soon you don’t mind, for Savannah can stand the test.
Selleck and His Person, Emily
Now my purr-motor AND The Kid Sage’s purr-motor too went into accelerated speed when we saw this video about 20 cats I and Mom Linda have been trying to help get medical assistance and find homes.
I hope you all remember the cats I meowed about a while back…they were rescued by two pawsome ladies who live near me. They paid to bring 20 cats all under 5 years old from Texas to Northern California last Summer. The cats were discovered in a hoarding situation of sorts. The ladies have been working diligently to get them taken care of health wise and get them adopted. There are a few left…if you don’t mind…please share this GREAT VIDEO they just made of the remaining cats…all purrrrring away in hopes of getting their furrever homes soon.
Click HERE to see my first post about them…and purrlease, purrlease share, reblog, tweet…anything to help these cats find homes. Our kitten season is about to begin and adult cats are almost totally overlooked at this time….they are all safe…well fed and cared for…but they are NOT HOME. We will help transport them to approved adopters in Northern California…Mom Linda and Dad Peter promised. Some are pretty shy…but with love and patience they will bring more joy into their furrever home than imagined.
One more big big reason to be purring…my former rescue shelter just sent me an email with an awesome photo of most of the cats we have saved this past year…if you can find my former Foster Brofur Leo, now my Cuzin Leo, in this photo…tell me in comments…bet no one can…heh…heh…I’ll let you know next Monday Meowsie News if anyone found Cuzin Leo…oh yeah…now that Mom mentioned it…and find The Kid Sage to…woo hoo…this is gonna be some fun!
Whew! That was a lot to get us purring around here; so we are joining Pepi Smart Dog’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop…hope you will go over and visit all those who are participating. You can join too…any time between now and NEXT Thursday when it starts over again…click the badge to be transported…
(Continued from Sunday March 9 Dash Kitten Blog…follow the links to go back to our first adventure where you can refresh your memory as to why those in bold ‘may’ be impawtant)
Savannah humming away as she tinkers in her steam punk workshop–
“I should know better than to hum along while I work. I just get caught up in the tune and then forget about what I am doing with my tools. Hope no one saw that…MOL!!! ” (giggles to self)
“I sure do hope Nissy is having better luck finding something useful in the pink smart phone’s chip. Seems really weird to me that someone or maybe some ‘thing’ would toss a pink smart phone into the space time continuum while we were teleporting…and only leave the name of the long thought extinct species of the Nip–‘Necata canipbis’. Just plain weird if you ask me, but no one did ask me, so there you go. Nissy just snatched that phone and stuck it in his fanny pack to work on later.
Right, so back to work…talking to myself won’t get this work done. Thisstainless whisk seems to have some strange coating…*tink, tink…tap, tap, tap*…my tests are showing this coating may not be from our time…or space.”
Sitting back in her chair…Savvy puts her chin on her paw and ponders what this might mean about who, or what, left this stainless whisk behind in the recently harvested field of Necata canipbis. Not to mention that she and Nissy need to figure out where in the heck that field was anyway. After all, they were yanked through time and space off that cliff over the ocean…and landed…well…who knows where they landed!!
(shakes head…Savvy continues to ‘think out loud‘)…
“I keep digressing in my thinking…not productive, nope, not productive at all…
I sure do miss Dash…
…he would have been able to help me test for particulates on this whisk. His nose was like way more sensitive than mine and he could have done some sniff tests for me. That must be part of the reason the ‘Nip doesn’t affect me—I don’t have a nose for it. But this lost strain of the ‘nip, Necata canipbis…whoa! That stuff even makes my head swim a bit!!”
(Savannah slaps her paw to her forehead)…”That’s it!!! I must have been dreaming or delusional from riding in that SUV with that olddried out twig of Necata canipbis…THAT’S why I heard someone whisper in my ear telling me to ‘go get him little ladycat’ when Nissy was first hauled off that cliff. Why, there wasn’t a voice at all…I was nipped out! Whew! I have been worried that there was some telepath out there trying to influence me.”
“Glad I got that all worked out…mystery solved on that score”… mutters Savvy…”I…..” (ting, ting)
“What’s that? Surely not the toaster?”…Savvy pads to the kitchen…and sure enough…there is a message from Nissy…
Savvy quickly pulls out her smart phone and sends Nissy and Silver a group text (silly mancats…why can’t they just use modern technology instead of this old fashioned toaster message contraption…sheesh)
To: Nissy and Silver Subject: Transport to meet Silver
Savvy works her paws very fast…tappity, tap, tap, tappity, tap…I’ll tell him to meet me in my Fast Leopard Teleport Tunnel. That way we can get to Silver faster…(taps ‘send’ with one claw…whoosh…off goes the group text)
“Hope Nissy doesn’t insist on using those recycled egg beaters he bought on E-bay…I wouldn’t trust them as far as I could toss Seville who bought them!”
“Oh”…Savannah runs off to set up the Fast Leopard Teleport Tunnel…Climbing inside…she shouts “Helllllooooo???….come on Nissy…shake your paws…let’s get going to see Silver.”
…then a sudden vacuum of air and Savannah can hardly catch her breath…everything blurs…%$##ZAP*&%$##…Savannah feels someone snatch her up by her scruff and then…
To be continued….(visit Nerissa’s Life for the breathtaking conclusion…Wednesday, March 12…and if you missed the first chapter on Sunday, March 9…visit Dash Kitten…his brofur Silver found something…)
