Monday Meowsie News…An Award So Special

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

First…no news yet on Mary (aka MJ…heh…heh)…just yet…but more will be coming soon

But I do have some news I have not been able to report…

…I did receive a pawtastic award July 8th…yup…my staff is a slackard…she kept putting it off…so finally I can accept and give thanks for the kindness of another paw blogger for acknowledging me with an award…woo hoo!!

So what a surprise to receive this very new, and special award…from All Fur One and One Fur All…and my furriend Pickles chose me and others and for this and I humbly accept and thank her…

The Helping Paw Award

So, whose paws do you think those belong to?? Heh…heh…I did not guess…but they are a very favorite wild animal from down under…A Kangaroo…doesn’t get more special than that!!

So Pickles says this about the Award she created…

“HI Ev-furry body..itz me Pickles..in case you don’ know I am a rescue cat.

Mum rescued me when I waz in a deadly situation..in fact I was in a PICKLE..which iz how I gotz my name!

I was very close to being at the rainbow bridge and waz saved just in time..

So mumz helped me and we made one

Itz called THE HELPING PAW AWARD

All you have to do is give itz to someone who has helped a animalz ..any animalz or an animalz human..say thankz you to the person you gotz it from..which iz easy because bloggerz is so politez..

First, I have already linked back to Pickles…that part is done.

Now to paw it forward as Foster Brofur Leo would say…

FB Leo and I consulted…as you can imagine…it was not simple to paw this award forward to only a few…so many of you in Blogville, Anipal Twitter and Face Book have stepped forward to help Leo find his furrever castle, to assist with Saving The Royals, to work hard to find Mary (aka MJ) a furrever castle of her very own (only to be diverted by her recent diagnosis of diabetes)…and so many other projects I have asked you to help me with…

So, we choose to paw forward this award to all involved in the SAVE LEO CAMPAIGN…

…and also to efurryone who has worked so furry hard to help sweet Mary find her own true furrever castle

You Are All The Best

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I am late getting my post up…so just a short one to say…

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU…

…for the effort you have all put into helping me find FB Leo a furrever castle…and then your pawsome efforts to help FB Leo with his Project to find Mary, aka MJ, her furrever castle. That is Leo’s way of pawing it forward in appreciation for the help he received.

Our very, very good friend, Miss Stella, from Mollie and Alfie, worked hard to find Mary a home in England…and she DID! However, just like Mom and Dad had to approve Leo’s future home, Mary/MJ’s guardians must also approve where she will go….and that takes time to finalize.

Unfortunately, we also just learned today that sweet MJ aka Mary, is not well. She is having urination problems and is currently being treated/tested at an organization called Blue Cross in England. So, she cannot be rehomed immediately as her current caretakers must first resolve her health issue. We will keep you informed as soon as we know, you will know.

I love my Harrington’s cat food

Basil’s typist, Miss Laura, will be visiting MJ tomorrow, Friday and perhaps we will know more then. Please don’t stop thinking of MJ…as she may still need to find a home if the first adopter does not work out for whatever reason. MJ will still use her hope chest!

On behalf of MJ and my FB Leo…I am thankful for being a part of such an open, accepting and caring community…I can’t say this enough…
