What a wild and crazy World Cat Day I had!!
I’m gonna save up some of the news from yesterday until my Monday Meowsie News post…I did some new things!!…shhhhhh…don’t tell efurryone ‘cuz I want them to visit me on Monday….puts paws to mouth, whispers again…shhhhhhhh…
But, I was a WILD CAT yesterday…I have some proof too!
You know I luvluvluv to run all over my house, up and down stairs, through all the rooms with wood floors (more noise!)…and slide, skid, make fast turns burning the wood up…aaahhhhh…luv it!!
Yesterday, Mom spent lots of time in our office…catching up as we hope lots of you noticed ‘cuz we left lots of comments from days ago!
Anyways…I started getting kind’a hyped up when we tried playing with the Kragon Fly, one of my new wand toys…I am still pretty suspicious of it…I don’t think I ever saw a real bug that big!!!…
…then we played some with one of my other new wand toys, I like it lots!…it has leather tails and it’s kind’a furry…
Oh Cat!!! I was totally excited!!…lots of energy…
Then Mom drags the leather furry thingy upstairs to our office…ya know…she was bizzy, bizzy, bizzy…
She just left the wand toy on the floor…then she hears me jumping around, sliding, thumping behind her…she only caught a short bit of what I was doing to that leather furry thingy…but it will give ya an idea of what I was doing behind Mom’s back…
I just gave that thing the beating of its short life!! MOL!! I probably worked it over for at least 15 minutes!
That got me even more excited and I went tearing downstairs, Mom could hear me…then there was this HUGE LOUD CRASHING BASHING noise Mom heard…it came from downstairs…hmmmmmm…
She looks over the upstairs railing into the living room, and there I am lying down and looking at her….”who?? me??…what???”
Later last night when Dad goes to sit down for more Olympic viewing…he says to Mom…”what the h__ happened to the floor fan??…Mom says…”what do you mean?”…and Dad points to this…
…yeah…you guessed it…I went sliding across the family room…playing WILD CAT…and CRASH BAM…slid into the floor fan…(they can’t use the ceiling fan ‘cuz I am scared of it…)
That was my WORLD CAT DAY!!! Fun, huh?! Hope you all had a great day too…

Oh Savannah there’s never a dull moment in your house!!! Looks like you’re really loosening up and loving life these days with all of your toys…..I like to slide around on the floor too – linoleum is my favorite! Keep an eye on those big flies – show them who’s boss around YOUR house…….:D 😀 😀 😀

oh my no, I don’t get panty at all! And I run all over our house at least 2 x a day and once at night if I feel like it. We have two floors, so very good aerobic exercise and makes my quads, hammies, and gluts very tight! MOL

My kitties didnt like the ceiling fan in our room at first either, but then they got used to it. They still prefer it not be on high, so when they’re around, I turn it down. (at least I say it’s for the kitties, it has nothing to do with the fact that I’m always chilly and Greg’s always hot.. hee hee)
Dad and Mom are hoping I get over it…we have them in every room!! And when we move to our new home in a month, there are ceiling fans there too…sigh…paw pats, Savannah

Hi Cody! I think I like it, but only if we play with it on wood floor…it doesn’t look like its real on the carpet. Could be a problem as our new home has mostly carpet, no wood floors…but there is a nice tile floor in the kitchen and little breakfast room…paw pats, Savvy
Hi Savannah! I’m glad you had a good World Cat Day. Me and the 3 furboys played with the cat-a-pole and da bird and the red dot. The littles furboy loves the red dot! While the twins like to pole toys. Then, once mommy had worn them out, we went to the bedroom and played with my ribbon. Of all the toys I love a ribbon ….oh and a little mesh bag mommy got her Id tags in. Weird how she wears them on her ears, but huMoms are a strange breed sometimes. After we played ribbon mommy let me watch videos of birds on the iPad. I love that! when I touch the birds on the iPad, they get bigger. It’s so fun. Anyway, World Cat Day was great! I’m glad you had a good time too. I hope we do it again real soon!

uuummmmm…I would say this is a big “YES” Austin…my inner kitty is coming out…not sure where she has been ‘cuz we don’t know about my life before the shelters. But Mom and Dad are starting to believe that I was never feral, or stray…they think my family got me as a kitten and there were kids who teased me and chased me…and then I was dumped when I was and adult. That is our theory because I don’t likek peep food, so probably never had to scrounge for food…and if anyone just blows their breath like blowing out candles around me, I run like the wind! strange, huh? paw pats, Savvy
