Hiya! Savannah Here!
Well it has been a busy, busy morning with Mom…I just let her give me lots of soft tummy strokes!!
No Kidding!!!…I really, really did!…I fell asleep on the job being Staircase Troll…and when I woke up…I was scared and meowed for Mom…
She was in our office slaving for me doing some stuff for me like usual…so I ran upstairs to her voice calling to me…
Then I threw myself down on the carpet outside our office and she came out, laid down in the landing with me and that’s when I let her pet my tummy!!! I even let her kiss my back and shoulders…NOT MY TUMMY…but hey, progress, right??
Anywho, I want to share a little video with you cause for the very first time…I TAWT I TAW A PUDDY TAT…SNEAKIN’ UP ON ME….
There I am…just playing with my wonderful Pheasant Feather Toy…and Oh My Cat!!! There was another cat!!
Of course you all know…it was a mirror…but my first time noticing it and I play there with my scratch ball thingy all the time! Mom is still chuckling over this one…
…and so am I ‘cuz this video is a bit of a “VIDEO BOMB” because she couldn’t play with me and keep focus…MOL…who gets the last heh, heh now???

In fact, I’ll only let Pop touch my soft white bib sometimes and TW not at all. You know what’s a great feather game? Trying to catch in under some tissue paper. I do like Blind Cat Rescue but want to check out the others as well. Touch choices as they all do good work. And I only let Mom pet me for a couple of minutes, but I did like it CK…it was nice..just makes me uncomfortable…sigh…oh and I do chase it under tissue, Great!

Mulberry has one of those toys with the ball in the track. He goes mad with it for a few minutes and then doesn’t touch it again for weeks!
I use it almost every day…usually first thing in the morning when I go out to join my pal Nanuk for the front yard perimeter patrol.
Was that Nanuk I saw in the photo of you at the bottom of the stairs?

for me, it is a trust thing…and the way cats fight, using our hind legs to to do the “rabbit kick of death”, where we can rip at the tummy if we are attacked…so for us, that is the ultimate sign of trust to allow humans to touch our tummies. you probably already knew that, but just in case…paw pats Savvy

That video of you was so funny. We’ve never really reacted to our reflection in the mirror but that’s probably because the only time we look at a mirror is when Mommy carries us and stands in front of one.
