Thankful Thursday…A Nice Day

Hiya! Savannah Here!

I hope your Thursday is a thankfilled one…yup…I know spell check hates that word “thankfilled”…but I like it so I’m gonna use it!…so there, spell check!!

Of course I am thankful that today my house is getting cleaned…but that also means it is HOOVER DAY!!! UGH!! But, Mom is home…so I can hang in our office with her until Auntie Shannon comes upstairs…then Mom and I will go down to our bedroom…Mom can grab her peep shower (she doesn’t use her tongue though…just some weird cloth thingy???..what’s with that???) and I can grab some zzzzz’s in my closet bed…not bad…so I am thankful for it.

And I am really thankful for yesterday…I had this really Nice Day visit with Mom on our stairs…

First…I was just hanging at the front door, catching up on stuff with Nanuk…he has seen some pretty interesting dogs go by the front yard…

…then I was sitting on the stairs, catching some sun puddles…and Mom comes over…”What??…can’t ya see I am sunning here???…

…OH MY CAT!!!…that feels so good…ummmmmm…so sorry I was so abrupt Mom…

…I had no idea this was gonna be a good luvin’ from Mom….WAIT!! DID YOU HEAR THAT???…

…oh…guess Nanuk has it covered…where were we Mom?…..

…awww…now she starts to sing to me…and I just go all crazy like…and I pull myself across the stair using the stair above as my sort of “pull up bar”…a very good workout, by the way…for my upper body strength…you know we ladycats aren’t always as strong as the mancats in upper body strength so we need to keep fit…

…uuummmpppffff…puff, puff…now the one paw pull…oooohhhh….ufffff….

…that was sooooo hard…now get the other paw hooked into the carpet…puff, puff…ummmppffff….

…alllmoooostt…there…ufff…pull, pull….

…whew…that was a great workout…thanks for the iMom music to help me out!!!…I think I’ll just stay here in the sun puddle and wait a bit before I do another rep…Ok Mom??

Yeah, yeah…I know you already saw this photo yesterday…but it really was the end of my upper body workout routine!!

Wild Cat Thursday!!

Hiya! Savannah Here!!

What a wild and crazy World Cat Day I had!!

I’m gonna save up some of the news from yesterday until my Monday Meowsie News post…I did some new things!!…shhhhhh…don’t tell efurryone ‘cuz I want them to visit me on Monday….puts paws to mouth, whispers again…shhhhhhhh…

But, I was a WILD CAT yesterday…I have some proof too!

You know I luvluvluv to run all over my house, up and down stairs, through all the rooms with wood floors (more noise!)…and slide, skid, make fast turns burning the wood up…aaahhhhh…luv it!!

Yesterday, Mom spent lots of time in our office…catching up as we hope lots of you noticed ‘cuz we left lots of comments from days ago!

Anyways…I started getting kind’a hyped up when we tried playing with the Kragon Fly, one of my new wand toys…I am still pretty suspicious of it…I don’t think I ever saw a real bug that big!!!…

…then we played some with one of my other new wand toys, I like it lots!…it has leather tails and it’s kind’a furry…

Oh Cat!!! I was totally excited!!…lots of energy…

Then Mom drags the leather furry thingy upstairs to our office…ya know…she was bizzy, bizzy, bizzy…

She just left the wand toy on the floor…then she hears me jumping around, sliding, thumping behind her…she only caught a short bit of what I was doing to that leather furry thingy…but it will give ya an idea of what I was doing behind Mom’s back…

I just gave that thing the beating of its short life!! MOL!! I probably worked it over for at least 15 minutes!

That got me even more excited and I went tearing downstairs, Mom could hear me…then there was this HUGE LOUD CRASHING BASHING noise Mom heard…it came from downstairs…hmmmmmm…

She looks over the upstairs railing into the living room, and there I am lying down and looking at her….”who?? me??…what???”

Later last night when Dad goes to sit down for more Olympic viewing…he says to Mom…”what the h__ happened to the floor fan??…Mom says…”what do you mean?”…and Dad points to this…

…yeah…you guessed it…I went sliding across the family room…playing WILD CAT…and CRASH BAM…slid into the floor fan…(they can’t use the ceiling fan ‘cuz I am scared of it…)

That was my WORLD CAT DAY!!! Fun, huh?! Hope you all had a great day too…

All Alone Am I Today…

Hiya Everyone, Savannah here…sort’a..

This morning, Dad and Mom told me they will be gone alllllllll day!…I couldn’t believe my ears…I stared at them….say what???…gone???…what about me???…my play time???…my mid day snacks….my din din???…..

…then they told me they were volunteering to help my former shelter organization, Contra Costa Humane Society (CCHS)…at en event to raise money for all the doggies and cats that they save from the county shelter…It is called Dunkin’ Doggies.

All the money that Pet Food Express takes in today, from 9 locations in our county, will be given to CCHS….pretty cool, huh?!…this is their sign…
