HELP! I Need Blanket Techniques!

Hey All…you know I outed myself as a “BLANKET CAT”…right?!  And I have shown you me as a lump in some photos. Well, Mom took a bit of a liberty with me when I was tryin’ to get under on my own…I usually let them help me by holding the blankie up and pretending there are mice in bed…then I dive under and pretend to lose the mice…and I just sort’a fall asleep.

Weellllll….I tried to do it myself and it wasn’t pretty…

yup!!! That’s my butt and tail hangin’ out there for all to see…no hiding it! I couldn’t get the blankie to let me all the way in.

Then I turned around and it still didn’t work out so good…

Now here I am looking out…I know they can see me…and of course…here comes the dreaded camera!

So for all my furriends who read this blog…please, please, please…if you have better techniques for getting under the blankie ALLLLL THE WAYYYYY…tell me!

ALERT! Itsy Bitsy Progress…YES Again!

OK,OK,OK,OK…so in my post on April 17, the one about Fitness for Cats…ya remember I had some video and stuff on trying to get my abs in shape.  Well, anyways….one of my fav blogs I follow is Animal Couriers and they made this comment about that post…

“Ha, we saw your lovely tummy! Have you let the peeps touch it yet?”  To which I gave a huge shout out…ARE YOU KIDDING! NO WAY!  TOOOOO PERSONAL!!

Well…drum roll please (boom booom booom)…

yesterday I was totally relaxed and Mom was next to me petting me really nice…and I forgot my fear for a bit…and I let Mom pet my tummy!!!!!  Ooohhhh…I closed my eyes…didn’t twitch my tail…totally relaxed and trusting Mom to give my tummy soft little rubs and strokes.  ummmmmmmm…nice….sigh…

You can sorta see my tummy in this photo…course Mom couldn’t get a picture when I let her pet my tummy ‘cuz I would of left…MOL…but you can see my tummy is pretty and soft…

Well that’s it for today…I just had to share my progress in my mental recovery…

Hoover Thursday…ggrrrooowwl hisssss…whine…

I say DOWN with any day that allows the HOOVER thingy to roam all over my  house!

I start my day just like always…hangin’ in bed with Mom watching the news…getting some brushing and nice chin and head rubs…readin’ the newspaper and whatnot…

 

Then I go upstairs for my morning nap…in my special bed in Mom’s office window…nice!

…now they go off to do their volunteer work at Kitty Corner…remember??? my former digs…so off they go.

THEN…WHAMMOOO…I hear Auntie Shannon come in sayin’ “Hi Savannah…Hi Kitty…” and now I know what day this is…HOOVER day…OH NO!

So I of course hide under a bed and wait………..like fooorrrrreeeevvvveeerrrrr….for Mom and Dad to come home and make the HOOVER go away! Fiiinnnnaalllllyyy,,,.they come back and Auntie Shannon leaves. WHEW!

I am about to take my much deserved, and needed nap…and in walks Mom and she asks me…”Savannah, wanna play honey?”  And you can figure for yourselves what I had to say to her….haaarrrumphp

soooo….does anyone else out there have to put up with this HOOVER day thingy??? Am I alone in having to deal with this indignation once a week…?????
