Friday Smiles without the Memes

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!

LATE!  LATE!!   LATE!!!

Since Tuesday morning about 6:30 AM PDST, it has been a very very busy 72 hours for us. I will tell all another time, because it is a long story. But the photos will explain why Mom L could not get my Friday Memes post done for me.

Mom L got a text then a call Tuesday about 6:30 AM. There was a neighbor with a possibility of some kittens stuck in the wallboard near the ceiling in her garage. And so Mom L’s long journey began. Shortly that same morning, Dad P and Miss Kandi went looking  with Mom L and they didn’t find anything—until Mom L went back with a cat trapping friend, Miss Venus, on Wednesday about 8 AM.

So here are your Friday Smiles without Friday Memes.

GUESS HOW MANY KITTENS YOU SEE IN THIS CARRIER!!

Let me know in comments!! Here are four being fed by their mom cat now being fostered with her four kittens in my castle. Now ya know there are at least four!!

We pulled a whole bunch of seven to ten day old kittens outta that garage wall!! All from ONE MOMMA CAT!!??  Nope. We found a second mom cat, and she is being fostered with a pal along with her kittens.

Have a great weekend!! I won’t be back until next Friday to present the whole rescue story. Mom L and Dad P are taking off for a little getaway for their forty-fifth anniversary!!

UPDATES: Former Adopted Fosters!!

HIYA!!  SAVANNAH HERE!!!

We just received updated photos from two of my former castle foster guests. Do you remember Mackenzie? She was about five years old, abandoned and injured with severe abscessed punctures on her tummy. And do you remember Pipsqueak? We trapped him when he was about ten weeks old, for neuter and release, then realized he had an eye injury.

Pip is now about two years old. And he is living the best life with his pal Barsik, and Pip also has a new name, Begemot. Both are Russian names because his human Mom is from Russia!

Begemot aka (our) Pip, was so little. He was the smallest in the litter of six kittens we trapped in mid-2020. But look at him now! He is soooo floofy!! Not sure how much he weighs, but looks like about eight to nine pounds.

Pipsqueak was such a character and so much fun. His eye injury did not bother him one bit.

We cleared it up as best we could. However, as you can see, he still has a blocked tear duct and a bit of cloudiness from scaring. Check out his awesome toe tufts!!

Right before receiving our update on Begemot (Pip), we received an update on Mackenzie, now Momo. She was about five years old, abandoned and living in a neighbor’s back yard. We discovered that she had a severe injury on her tummy and Mom L’s retire DVM pal Doc Josie, performed surgery to clean and repair her tummy abscesses.

Momo is now an adventure cat!! Her human Mom trained her to a harness and leash and now she gets to go outside for walkies and sniff the flowers! She also does yoga with her Mom and she helps her with her art projects like crocheting and painting.

Her Mom made this stuffed Momo!! Isn’t she cute??

I hope you enjoyed seeing my former castle foster guests now one and two years later as much as I did! Happy Tails Endings are so much more fun when we receive updates!!

Friday Memes for Friday Smiles

HIYA!!  SAVANNAH HERE!!!

I am late, very late with my Friday Memes. I sure hope your Friday Smiles are ready to get movin’!!

Have you all figured this out? All ya gotta do is cry like crazy in the  morning, and the humans rush around to get my breakfast, the other two, TKS and Katie, trot downstairs after them—and VOILA!! I have the bed all to myself!!

The truth no one tells us when we adopt humans. Sigh…

MOL!!! Can you do that?? I sure can’t! Senorita Mirabel is such a silly gal! She does this all day long!!! Sometimes with both legs!!! And she is still looking for her own permanent home. Please share her Pet Finder link here!
