Saturday Hunting…

Hiya! Savannah Here!

I’ve been having some really great aerobic workouts with a new toy. I learned about this toy from one of my bestest girl furriends Cathy Keisha, Stunning Keisha, ‘cuz talked about these totally cool Pheasant Feather Toys on a post a while back…and guess what??!!…YES!! Thanks to you, CK, Mom bought me some….

Another great thing I do with Mom is use the Pheasant Feather Toy for some really good core strength building, not just aerobic…we play on our carpeted stairs…and I pull myself using my upper body and abs along the stair to chase the feather(ladycats need a nice 6 pak too!)….and I work my gluts and quads ‘cuz I also push myself along the stair.

Carpeting is key for this workout ‘cuz ya need to be able to sink those claws into the carpet to get leverage…whew…

…getting a good taste of the feather always is essential for me to build my focus…

..now some warm up work using just upper body…good for paw to eye coordination…

…now the stair work…here is where I get really serious about dedding the feather…ROAR!!!…

…smack, whack…munch, munch…

…yuummmm…tasty…hey, Mom?…I think I may need a new one next workout, OK??!!…

And that my furriends is how this cat did her Saturday Hunting…a real work out for ladycats and mancats…if you are up to it….meowwwwwww….that’s a challenge to all you napping cats…

…speaking of that….yawnnnn…hmmmm….ahem, koff, koff….maybe I will just see if there are some morning sun puddles with my name on them…zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Friday Fun Foto Bombs!!!

Hiya! Savannah Here!!

I thought you might enjoy another Friday Fun Foto Bomb Exhibit…at Mom’s expense, of course!!! MOL!!

It took me a while, but I managed to dig up several fotos where she has totally messed up capturing all parts of my lovely body.

In particular…in most of these I am either tail-less completely…or…perhaps worse…she hacks off part of my tail!!!

What is with that??? Is it intentional to embarrass me??? Or is she just a lousy fotographer??? You decide and let us know with your comments….

Here we go….first up…yeah, well I have a tail here, but please notice…I have NO HEAD!!…but she certainly got her human hand in the foto…what’s with that????…like who wants to see that???

…now I have a partial tail…but she certainly manages to get a fotoie of her sweet little hand again!…but me, I get a partial tail…great!…

…now I am missing my tail and part of my butt…sheesh…woman!!!…have some mercy here…

…PURRFECT!!!! Great shot of my butt…but again…TAIL-LESS!!!…I look like a tail-less fat rat!…embarrasssssssssing!!!…

…awwww…what a lovely human hand!!..HA!…Not!…I, of course, once again…have not tail…

…now you migh think…oh, no, this is definitely not a foto bomb…well…check out what I am missing yet again…go on, check it out…what’s missing???…I’ll give ya 3 guesses and a hint to help…the missing appendage starts with the letter “t”!

Ok, there you are…clear proof…my Mom more often than not plays FOTO BOMBS AWAY with me as the loser…she can make me look so cute and playful and sweet…and she can make me look so….ummm…what is it….what to call it…oh, yeah…she can make me look so INCOMPLETE!!

They Thought I Won’t Jump!!

Hiya! Savannah Here!!

You know humans, right?? They don’t seem to get it that when they aren’t home, we do stuff differently than when they are…right??? Isn’t that true for all of you? Cats and Dogs??

I bet’cha it is true!…I know all of guys are NOT the purrfect little cats and dogs you try to pretend to be…I read your blogs…I know!

Mom and Dad always lament (vocab builder project VBP) that I don’t seem to care much for heights…I don’t get on counters (well, there was that one time Mom caught me)…I don’t get on the table ( well, once)…anyway…I don’t usually “JUMP” up on stuff…so they think…heh heh…

Well, Auntie Shannon, remember she runs the HOOVER here AND she stays with me when Mom and Dad have their get-aways…anywho…Auntie Shannon let it slip that she and I have this really cool arrangement for when she stays here.

Auntie Shannon leaves the bedroom window open, with the shutter opened too…and I jump…yes…I said I “JUMP” from the floor to the window sill for a little fresh air and a look-see from a different perspective (VBP) than I get from looking out the slider doors when they are open.

Mom said “NO WAY!!…not my baby girl Nana!!…she would never jump up like that”…and Auntie Shannon said “WAY!!…yes she does!!…open that window and leave the shutter open and just you wait and see…”

Yup..you got it right! That is exactly what Mom has done…and of course she has been “waiting to see” with her FLASH and CLICK in her hand…literally night and day!

So, she got me…in the act…

…yup…it’s open alrighty…

…lemme just use my Ground Hog sit move to look higher…make sure the sill is clear…

…OK…just one or two more things to check out…

…made it!!!…yup…that’s the floor down there…and me up here…

…ahhh…I just luvluvluv the perspective this gives me of Mom’s chest of drawers….hmmm…wonder how far that jump would be???…

…nope, nope..focus…this is good for now…smell that air…ahhhhhh….

…Wow…the jacuzzi is sure quiet…wonder if there are any stars out tonight…

…well…guess I better get down…Mom probably needs me over in bed with her now…

And that’s what I have been doing for months now…when Mom and Dad are gone…Auntie Shannon and I have this deal…she likes the shutter open at night…and I like to sit and look at the stars from the window sill…cool, huh?

Now Mom and Dad know what to do too…so I get my way…SCORE ANOTHER ONE FOR SAVANNAH…Clowie will be proud of the way I am training my bipeds…she is my role model for biped Training 101…

Hope all of you are still working your own biped training…we have to keep them on their toes…so make sure you never do the same thing all the time…give them something different when they least expect it…hmmmmm…wish I could operate that FLASH and CLICK to capture the looks on their faces…MOL
