Monday Meowsie News…

HIYA!!   SAVANNAH HERE!!!

What a whirlwind week we have had! Efurryone knows by now that my foster brofur Leo is off his feeding tube and eating and drinking on his own.  If you missed that post…click HERE

I have now managed to hiss, growl, snarl and yowl at his hotel suite door…even if I can’t SEE him…I can certainly hear his cry baby caterwauling meowyowling noises he makes every night!!…sheesh…a ladycat can’t get her beauty sleep with all his noise!

And it has been hot, hot, hot here over last few days…so Dad always keeps the bird and squirrel TV glass doors covered to keep out the sun…but I  know how to watch any channel I want…heh…heh…if I can’t see him…then I KNOW he can’t see me…

…and we had Dinah’s staff over for dinner early last week…I allowed her to view me…but I made sure that as soon as she got off MY COUCH…she knew I was not purrleased with her hangin’ round too long…

DSC_1473

…especially as she did not bring my furriend Dinah (member of RWB…Readers Without Blogs)…click HERE if you don’t recall my furriend Dinah…she is one hot sexy ladycat for sure!!…just sayin’…

Notice she left my fave blue afghan all crumpled…and I had to scrunch into my meat loaf position on the cold leather couch…she didn’t even care because she and Mom and Dad had all chowed down nibbled on the cheese and crackers…who cared that ‘little sweet Dad’s Princess Savannah’ was left to the cold hard couch…alone…

…then…I had to just hunker down and endure…

DSC_1474

…no, seriously…I REALLY mean IT!!…this was tough to endure….zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz…

DSC_1475

…and so goes my torturous interesting week…

Now let me turn to my foster brofur Leo…and I don’t do this with “glee”…trust me…He was allowed to “ROAM FREE” in MY HOME!!!….CAN YOU BELIEVE!!!

…and then he was allowed…(I, of course knew this was going on as my master bedroom doors were CLOSED!…thus…I sadly, and forlornly…hid UTB…for the duration…alone…)…he was allowed to roam throughout my domain home…

…first he finds his way to MY upstairs TOWER!!…

…then he finds his way down stairs to MY  PLAY ROOM!!!…

Well…there is more…not so pretty…as Leo took advantage of someone very very special to me…I was disgusted amazed at his boldness!!

But that must wait until another post…this one had dragged on long enough already!

What?? Mom!! Dad!! S#!^$&%)ERIOUSLY!!   This is MY blog!…ummm…right??!!

Yes, Savvy, it is…but Mom and I want to share what we did today that took us away from catering   giving attention to you and yes, even to foster brofur Leo…

Dad here…today I helped Mom Linda drive a transport of two sweet 2 month old doxie pups…we moved them from the Sacramento SPCA to a foster in Los Altos, all in Northern California.  The two pups were from a litter of 5, the SPCA fostered the other 3, and the Southern California Daschund Rescue has someone in Nor Calif who took the last two…we logged 280 miles; about 6 hours…but it saves two precious lives…and no…they were not quiet…nor were they “non-productive”…yes…we had the pleasure of changing puppy poop pads mid trip…ick!!…these sweet pups have some mange which will be cleared quickly and they will find fantabulous furrever homes…we luvluvluv’d doing this today…

…the music they made…sorry so short…turn up volumn…heheh

That’s my Monday Meowsie News…hope you had a great time catching up with all the stuff going on in my home…never a dull moment here…

Monday Meowsie News…You Are Going To Luvluvluv This!

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Oh My Cat!!! I have some really SPECTACULAR news to share…no, no…Leo has NOT started eating well…wish I could say it’s so; but it isn’t…but I will save my PAWSOME SURPRISE news for last…of course…so start trying to guess what it might be???

…and no, it is not just another photo of Mom holding my tail!…heh…heh

DSC_1446

Something you never ever thought you would see a photo of on my bloggy…just sayin’…

Now first, many of you know I am Auntie Savvy to Little Miss Satchie, from Satchmo The Cat; and of course, I am a very good pal to Jay, her older brofur…he has his own bloggy as well, Jazz Cat Jay.  Well, they live in Ottawa, Canada…so probably we won’t ever get to meet up.

BUT…their Mom, Miss Claudia came to a town RIGHT NEXT TO ME!!!  So she came to my house and met ME and my Mom…ahem, ahhhh…well…no, no…there is no photo of her actually touching me…but she did…but there is a photo of her and Mom Linda!! Who would have thunk this could happen?!

IMG_0270

Now Leo is feeling just fine…he is playing with some of my toys I told Mom I would share with him…and he is chill-axing in his hotel suite…but he does caterwaul a bit as I suspect he would like more freedom.  But that dude is STILL NOT EATING enough on his own…sigh (click on a photo to bigify…especially the ones of Leo chill-axing!)

I know you will want a little update on The Rat Pack…remember those scrawny little bottle kittens my Mom and Miss Josie forced introduced me to??  Well, they are growing up fast…they went to their very first Petsmart Adoption Day this past weekend…

So that’s what’s happening in my home these days…

What?…oh, did some of you wanna hear my SPECTACULAR PAWSOME SURPRISE NEWS???…oh gosh…it seems so teeny now, I almost forgot.

For those of you who have known me since I started sharing my rescue story and my recovery from trauma progress…you will know how big my news truly is.  There are many of you who have been with me almost every step of the way…but there are three who I know for sure will luvluvluv seeing my photos of what I did this weekend.

Miss Annie from Animal Couriers always told me this would just happen one day without anyone suspecting it. And for sure Miss Trish from Katnip Lounge has been waiting, waiting, waiting patiently…cuz she just always knew I had it in me…and of course, my mentor and one of my very first blog furriends, Sammy and his Mom Miss Pam from One Spoiled Cat told me I would do this one day.

SQUEEE!! YES!!! I just hopped up onto Mom’s sort of lap…while she was reclined on the couch…she and Dad were havin’ a furramily meetin’ and I just KNEW they were talkin’ about Leo.  I just had to get closer to snoopervise.  But Mom was reclined on MY end of the couch and Dad was sitting right there where Mom always sits…hmmm…where was I gonna be able to fit??

I did one drive by…put my dainty front paws on the couch just to check out the space…then I walked off to consider just where I would be best able to snoopervise…so I did another drive by to do some sniffin’…then on my final pass…I decided I needed to be ON TOP of Mom to do my best snoopervisin’…

So I just hopped right up…walked onto her lap/tummy and made myself to home!! Mom and Dad did not breathe for at least 5 minutes…no idea what the big deal was…heh…heh

Finally Dad took the risk of getting up and as he did he picked up Mom’s iPhone…so we have photo proof…I have now been on Mom’s lap…I stayed there for about a half hour…just purring away…no big deal!

Friday Frolics and Other Things

HIYA!!  SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Thank you all who came by to visit, read, leave comments…on my post on Thankful Thursday.  It was a very special post for me…

…even though I am not especially happy about Foster Brofur Leo being in MY home…I am truly purrleased he is starting to make a turn around…THANK CEILING CAT!!!

Nice...

Nice…

UPDATE: Foster brofur Leo had to got the vet place again yesterday…Mom and Dad messed up a teeny bit and got some air bubbles caught in his feeding tube giving him his meds…but he is all sorted out again…and well…still being stubborn about eating on his own.  But…we know he can do it…he may just have forgotten how…my personal vet, Dr Ellis, she knows all about this stuff…she will help us move Leo through his turn around…paws crossed.

So here is a bit of Friday Frolics…just a little bitty sound video of Foster Brofur Leo on his way to his vet check-up…he HATES being in the car when it moves…heh…heh…you must have volume up loud to hear his voice…

And for even more FROLICS…Starring ME of course…

Finally…I thought my post yesterday was like…well…according to “best blog writing protocol”…ummm…way too long…so I left out a very impawtant story about a donation made from a very special furriend of Savannah’s Paw Tracks…unknown to me until he reached out and helped my foster brofur Leo…

As all of you know…we all have many RWB (Readers Without Blogs)…such as Mistletoe and Hitch and my special furriend Dinah…they visit us every day they can…they read…sometimes leave comments…or they just read and move on…’cuz they don’t have blogs themselves or whatnot…

When I very first mentioned Foster brofur Leo…and his illness…and humbly asked if my furriends could spare some sofa/pocket change to help his medical costs…one unknown furriend contacted me and Mom Linda…his name is “Boots”…and he has been reading my bloggy for sometime I guess…

Anywho…here is what Boots had his staff write to me and Mom Linda…

“…Hi, I am Boots, the Household Tiger and I live in St. Louis, MO.  I discovered Ms Savvy Do Savannah while doing a Google search on  “grey cats” during lunch one day. I (Boots Mom) was so charmed by her/your blog that I started following it on a regular basis. The story of Leo is near and dear to my heart as I lost my( Boot’s Mom’s Dad)  father’s cat Pillsbury to the same issue, just a couple of months after my Dad passed away.  I don’t want anyone else to go through through what we through with Pillsy.”

In Boots honor, his Mom and Dad made a donation to Leo’s Med costs at CC Humane Society.  So…isn’t it amazing that all of us have followers, RWB (Readers Without Blogs) who read, love us, most often don’t comment as they do not have a paw blog, or Face Book page or a Twitter handle…but they read our posts and love our anipal/paw blog community as much as all of us active members do.  Boots and his Guardians are those RWB readers; just like Mistletoe and Hitch and Dinah…who help us out in our efforts to rescue animals and improve animal welfare.

So to acknowledge Boots and his contribution to Leo’s medical costs…let me introduce you to him…don’t you think we must be related???

…now the next set of three photos…

Last but surely not least…let me remind you all that our very good furriend Chancy and Baby Boy and the kitties have moved…here is their new address..be sure to follow them…

What’s Going On At Mumsy’s blog, formerly Chancy the Gardener and two other blogs rolled into one…PURRFECT!

Thank you all for your pawsome support in my chaotic time…I am trying so hard to come back to all of you in your comment queues and Twitter and FB comments.
