How do you use your television?

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

The question for my Monday post is all about sharing how we all interact with our human’s televisions. Of course I am assuming you 1) live with a human who has a TV and 2) that you care one whiff about said TV!

Starting with TKS.

I can see everything in the living room from here! Sweet!

Of course it never crosses TKS’ mind that NO ONE who is attempting to watch that TV can see through her! This is a new sitting post for TKS and it is driving Mom L mad!! Too funny!!! MOL!

I am NOT a copy cat!! I like it up here!

And there you have it. Katie aka KK has decided to try out TKS’ approach for surveying the room from wherever the humans place their TV. However, KK chose to take the TV perch on in our bedroom.

Zzzzz…*snort*…zzzzz

As for me, I choose to take my TV time in stride. And nap. What in Ceiling Cat’s name does a human TV have to offer us cats!!

Pretty cute, aren’t they?

And I now that Mom L just luvluvluv’s to see my little pink toe pads when I snooze next to her on our couch while she watches her sill human TV.

I have a copy cat!

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

First, I’d like to share a little mishap with you my friends.

This is gonna be embarrassing

For those of you who were kind enough to read and leave comments on my “Friday” Memes post, which was posted on “Saturday”—I wanna say a great big thank you. For those of you who missed that post, well, it was, after all POSTED ON THE WRONG DAY!! No wonder you missed it!!

Truth be told, Mom L has somethin’ her doc calls ~~talking~~ walking new-moan-yah. I think it outta be called “talking” new-moan-yah given how much koffin’ she has been doing for the last ten days. I am the only cat to be willing to sleep with her for night nurse duty ‘cuz she has been makin’ such a ruckus. Why even Dad P left and TKS and KK followed right behind.

Anyway, Mom L thought she was doing me a great big favor to post my “Flashback” Memes for my Friday Memes blog post. She just lost track of the days.

There, glad I had that talk with you all, now let me get to this whole “copy cat” thing going on around my castle.

Kit Katie, aka KK, has decided she wants to show me respect by following my morning breakfast habits. You see Dad P has for all the years I have lived here, served up brekkies. He always lets me have my first nibble or two in the kitchen with TKS and now KK too. But then he knows I like to graze and have second, third and sometimes even fourth brekkies.

So he always takes my dish upstairs when he takes Mom L her morning coffee they share in bed while they read papers and watch the TV news. Whenever I want to nibble, Dad P jumps up at my ~~soft~~ demanding “meow” and sets my dish on the floor for my enjoyment.

KK has decided that she also likes that notion of several brekkies spread out over about an hour.

So now Dad P gets ~~requests~~ demands from two cats in the morning! We like to nibble, get some pets, take a catnap, then nibble again and so on. He kind’a looks like a puppet with us pulling on his strings!! MOL!!

TKS and KK Cat Chat

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Well it isn’t often that we cats allow humans to catch us having a cat chat, but even with her cat-R-acts, Mom L was able to capture a silly cat chat between TKS and KK.

Hey Katie?!
What’cha want TKS?
Let’s have a contest

You can see that they were hangin’ out together, so of course a contest or game was gonna happen!

KK: “how’s about “who can look the cutest rolling upside down?” TKS: “Ummm…you mean with my head like this?”

Wow! Now KK is a master at this move.

TKS: “Perfect. Check out this move! My mouth is even kind’a open KK: “ohhh…nice one TKS

KK is so generous and always compliments TKS for her part in every game they play.

KK:” But look at mine with paws up!! TKS: “Yeah well I still think my twist with an inside out chin position is better

MOL!! TKS is still a competitor at heart!

TKS: “KK you do that upside down move all the time. Why? KK:” “Cuz I’m tryin’ to look vulnerable to you so you will wanna snuggle with me

Ahhhh—KK shares a truth.

KK: “So, is it working’ on your TKS? TKS: “*chuckle* Yeah ‘cuz now I play with you in the morning, but not so much with Her Royal Highness Savannah.

Yep, TKS got that right. I am not giving into KK’s “submissive” moves. Although I have tried a couple of playful lunges at her without any hissing from me. I’m not sure if that is “cat play” as I never had any other kitty help me learn what that is.
