And the Memes Keep On Coming!

HIYA! SAVANNAH HERE!!

I have two new guest contributors today. I am tickled gray and white to have my readers sending me your animal memes. Species doesn’t matter, but the photo must be of animal (s) you have met or who are members of your human family, even if “extended family”.

That said, take a look at this cutie Joanie, from 15 And Meowing! She is one audacious ladycat! And I just bet that $one dollar USD per rub is gonna go straight to her treat allowance.

Next up is a special guest contributor, my former cat vet Doc Josie. She has a member of her immediate family who allows her to qualify as a Blue Star Mom and she wears that star oh so proudly. But then Doc Josie always has had a crazylady sense of humor. Mom L added the words but that expert photo shopping is all Doc Josie’s work.

And of course I could not say “no” to my fur sib TKS. She just had to have her own meme added to this collection. She seems to think she can sing like the music stars—hardly!

There you have it for this week. Come on my pals, send me more photos even if you can’t come up with the words. I help Mom L work on the words and we submit back to you before ever posting to make sure you approve. We like to insure we are using PG rated words after all.

Announcement! My Guest Sunday Selfie Is…

HIYA! SAVANNAH HERE!!

Hope you all remember by last Sunday Selfie Guest…an unknown kitten with an unknown fur color. Here she is again.

“Let me know in comments if you think this kitten is one of the following:

multi-color cow kitten
calico
white with “shabby chic” accents
no clue

Just say the number in comments and I will let ya know what my readers’ consensus is about what color furs this sweet kitten is showing off on my Monday blog post!!”

Come on Doc, just get it over with, ok?

Most of you thought she is likely a calico cat, which is certainly possible and what Mom L thought too. But her tail resembled a tabby cat!!

One comment from my gal pals Scylla and Chimera from ATCAD blog suggested she actually resembles a Turkish Van cat. I went to Ms Wikipedia and I must say, this kitten DOES resemble the “Tortie” fur color of a Turkish Van cat! (photo courtesy of By 3Leonards – en wikipedia, Public Domain)

This cutie was one of three kittens getting their vaccinations, blood draw for snap test and worming at Community Concern 4 Cats (CC4C) special Kitchen Cat Clinic hosted by Ms Gemma, President of CC4C, and Ms Josie, retired cat specialist Vet, Mom L’s good friend.

Mom L had not been for several weeks so this week was especially important. Mom L was able to visit with and take photos of several special younger patients. One of whom was of course, my guest for my Sunday Selfie entry this week. Here are her litter mates.

Aren’t they a gorgeous threesome?! There was a really nice tortie girl too, but she was a bit older. And Doc Josie’s reassurances didn’t make her feel a whole ton better!

Of course she soon learned what Doc Josie wanted and Ms Tortie was none too pleased.

One more young’in was up for her blood draw and she took it like a champ!

What Does TKS Dream?

HIYA! SAVANNAH HERE!!

I have a question for you, my dear loyal readers. You know that from time to time I have posted The Kid Sage aka TKS in many of her silly explorations. The one I can always count on is her obsession with the lid on the litter boxes every single time Dad P cleans them to replace our litter. What is it with her and those litter box lids? Na’ mean??

TKS seems to continue to believe that the litter box lid is supposed to actually “DO” something all by itself. Whatever do you suppose she dreams it will do?

Wow! I bet this baby can really pick up some speed!

You don’t think TKS dreams that she is in some sort of actual vehicle, do you?? Holy cat! I never thought about her actually believing that litter box lid could “move” on its own.

Naw, no way—I know TKS is a silly kid, but seriously, she is, after all my fur sib and I, Savannah the Cat, have had her under my careful tutelage for some two plus years now. She can’t be that off her rocker, right?

I have noticed that lately she has been wanting to get into my steampunk lab and workshop.

But I keep that hidden and have never let her know the secret location. And for sure I know I never meow in my sleep. I have plans in progress, ya know?

Oh well, she dream all she wants. But like they say, be careful what ya ask for…heh…heh!
