Thursday Purrsday…

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

Thursday Purrsday is my day to share some of the things that keep me purring. And, sometimes I share things I hope you will help me do, so someone else can have a good Thursday Purrsday too.

…I have a little of both today…I had Mom Linda almost gushing leaky eyes yesterday afternoon. You see, she bought me two really nice hammik beds like the ones we see lots of other kittehs enjoying…I got them last Catmas Day. Now, Cuzin Leo has one I gave him for his New Furrever Castle Warming…and well…I just don’t use mine much at all.

Mom Linda always hoped I would use mine, which I keep in our office, so I can nap in it while she types my blog. She got her wish Wednesday…(click to bigify and hover your mousie over each photo for captions)

I am so purrleased that I have this hammik near Mom Linda…you see…we have been having some stress at home…I can’t talk about yet…I need more information…but I have been a tad jumpy lately…just sayin’…

And now for a request to you all….to help make another adult rescue woofie (BTW…they deserve forever homes too for all you kittehs out there wondering *snicker*) have a Thursday Purrsday of his own soon.

He so wants to kiss Foster Mom

Well, Phinny had so many peeps wanting to help him get well…Contra Costa Humane Society, my former rescue who pulled him, a pitty mix, from being PTS…received $12, 000 USD in donations to help pay for Phinny’s surgery and recovery. And peeps lined up wanting to be put on the list to adopt Phinny when he was through his surgery.

Guess WHAT! His surgery was successful…and now…no one wants to adopt him!

…sigh…

…zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz…

Here is my request for all of you reading my Thursday Purrsday post…please help me, help Phinny…he is all well now and looking for his furrever home…and no one, nope, not anyone…after he had his life saving surgery…has stepped forward to adopt Phinny…please, please…share, Tweet, post about Phinny…let’s get him to his furrever home before Catmas Day…

I am not asking for any green papers, I am just asking you to promote this pawsome woofie…Mom Linda and Dad Peter have purrsonally volunteered to transport him to anywhere in Northern California, and as far as Reno, Nevada and up to the Oregon border.

Monday Meowsie News…New Feathers!

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!

What a busy, busy week! My friends at The Natural Pet Company asked me to review another of their pawsome cat products. It arrived in no time whatsoever! And MOUSES! Was I ever impressed at the package and all that it held.

Whoa! All different!

This is their Cat Wand Toy Mega Pack and it has a collapsible wand and three feather attachments, all different! Two of the attachments have bells but they were really easy for Mom to remove…you see…ummmm…well, I am kind of put off by toys with bells…thankfully, these were gone in no time!

I had Mom break out those bad cat feathers right away…(click to bigify and hover your mouse over photos to see captions)

I decided that just having me test this product wasn’t really a great product test…so I sent Mom over to my former rescue shelter, Kitty Corner, so the current residents could give them all a test too. They have some kittens right now and those guys knew just what to do with all these feathers.

I’d have to give this product all paws up for how much we kitties all enjoyed it. The only thing I wish they could change is how the feathers are attached to the string. I had to wait for Mom to tie and untie the string for each attachment. There is no swivel attached to the string, just to the toy so when some of the kittens at Kitty Corner got excited, the string know kept coming untied…but for all the fun we had with it…that’s no big deal.

Thursday Purrsday…Such Excitement!

HIYA!! SAVANNAH HERE!!!

What A Week!

Oh Cat! Such excitement in my castle this past 24 hours!! Mom Linda JUST learned that my nomination of my former rescue organization, Contra Costa Humane Society, (CCHS) was selected as one of the SIX recipients for this year’s Santa Paws Drive.

Mom and I both, well, ummmm…yeah…we sort’a assumed we wouldn’t make it ‘cuz my former shelter rescue is so small…BUT…they do GREAT things…with little….and the Santa Paws Elves reviewed the words I told Mom Linda to write, took a peek at the website…and they chose CCHS!!!…APAWS!! APAWS!!

…and just look at the other FIVE rescues who were selected…CLICK HERE…they are such worthy rescues…I am honored to know my former rescue organization stands with these pawsome groups.
